Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A lovely reserve that was bustling with excitement as a rare bird was there on the day we visited. A collared something ( excuse my ignorance) the young male member of staff even ensured I got to see the bird through the binoculars.
A lovely 30 minutes or so spent here staff willing to answer my silly questions.
Followed by a lovely walk along the cycle path.

Interesting place, quite different from the usual tourist attractions in the area. There is a small exhibition where one can find out more about the salt history in Malta and also an educational area for kids. Free entrance, nice staff.

Though we have not seen so many birds (just a few herons), this is a nice place to visit, and take the kids. The area has been converted from the saline into a reserve, where the birds hang for a bit before they proceed with their journeys.
There is also a small visitor center with some info.

We were on holiday staying in Bugibba Oct 2019. Going for a walk, getting to know the area, we stumbled across this park/nature reserve. We walked in and there was a café, with seating outside, and toilets next to it. This is a very popular place for people of all ages. The artificial grass area, was popular with kids playing around the water fountain. There is plenty of seating to rest those weary legs, and watch the world go by. Walking further on, we came to the J.F.K. memorial, along with walking trails through the tree's, taking you to keep fit apparatus, and a childrens park with swings/slide, to keep them occupied. Plenty of families were using the facilities. Further on, there's a trail taking you to the salt flats. A lovely escape from the urban jungle, in a natural habitat. Spend as much time as you need here, it's all free, and enjoy, we did. This park/reserve is ideal for people who are less mobile, i.e. wheelchair friendly.

The old saltpans near the Salini Resort have been transformed into a nature reserve. There is a visitor centre with lots of information about salt and its association with Malta. Upstairs is information about the flora and fauna of the islands and usually binoculars are on the balcony. This reserve is a work in progress so is worth visiting each time to see the changes. There is often a member of staff on site who will happily tell you what is happening. The reserve also covers the waterside along Kennedy Grove and this is a pleasant walk to see the flowers and shrubs. There are Bird hides along here which give a good view of the salt pans and their avian visitors

Went here with my boyfriend. It started to get dark so we will take another trip in daylight. Beautiful place and good place for kids and dog walking.

I went here during a visit to Malta, There are fountains and play areas. There is a cafe on site, there are numerous trees and cactus growing. There is also a monument to John Kennedy. Well worth a visit, recommended.

We visited this park with 4 kids aged 5-11 y and all of them loved this park! Free toilets available, several playgrounds around the park for different ages, everything looks clean and new. Don’t be afraid to walk deeper in the park to see the Kennedy Grove and more more playgrounds for the kids.

An obligatory passage on the side of the road, no interesting viewpoint apart from the disreputable parking lot and a canal serving as a trash reserve. For a nature reserve, excuse me for being disgusted!
