Went for breakfast on the recommendation of a family member. Cafe was lovely with a roaring open fire and good helpful staff, however the breakfasts my wife and I ordered were warm at best but probably better described as cold. Also, was especially disappointed with the quality of the sausages which was poor compared to the bacon. Would have been... More

Busy cafe. Arrived at 12.30pm and seems to be the place to be. We were told upon ordering there was a wait but an hour for a jacket potato and sandwich felt like a long time! Staff really friendly, food was lovely. Toilets need some development. The women's toilet was really disgusting. Whilst we were loving the sun shining outside,... More

A busy little place. Keep going back for breakfasts, waitresses try their best even when busy, can see them getting stressed sometimes though. Staff are helpful and know their stuff with the garden plants. Some lovely garden furniture and decorations.

Jacksons cafe is a warm and welcoming place to visit. The log fire is lovely to see the menu offers a good choice for breakfast and lunches. The cakes are homemade and enjoyable. The breakfasts are good value served hot the only down side is the toast was very pale in fact it was like eating warm bread. The lunches... More

We decided to pop up for lunch and to book our table for the special Christmas menu next month as we always make choosing our tree a major event, starting with morning coffee and mine pies then choose tree, holly and mistletoe before the wonderful festive feast !Food is home made and tastes like real farmhouse fare.Plenty of it and... Attached to the nursery is an excellent cafeteria. There is a standard menu plus a specials board and the range of food is superb. Yesterday I had vegetarian curry with poppadom and rice and my companions had rump steak with the most delicious chips plus salad, mushrooms etc. These were both on specials. To follow - though we were not... More

We went to have a browse around the nursery and decided to have a late breakfast. Coffee was great in a cold morning. We had the full breakfast (one veggie) excellent quality served pipping hot. Really enjoyed it, and the staff are so friendly and made you welcome. The fire in the middle of the restaurant made it feel like... More
