Wonderful church, well worth a visit. Remains of a castle in the next field plus the attraction of The Kilpeck Inn just down the road. Perfect

Love stopping off to kilpeck church when I'm driving from Monmouthshire to Hereford on the back roads. It is a beautiful little church, particularly the outside stonework, which has some pagan treats including a sheela na gig- always a thrill to see one. A lovely...More

After a most enjoyable lunch at The Kilpeck Inn, the 4 of us walked across the road, 200m to this gem. This 12th century Norman church (circa 1140) is a renown, compact, historical site of importance. The main church door and external gargoyles register straight...More

Fantastic stone carvings - the outside porch door surround is magnificent - the corbels fascinating - spot the rude ones! Inside is just as unique. Well worth a detour.

Lovely to be able to look around fascinating old church. Most of the really amazing detail is on the outside but really appreciate the friendliness in the open church with information to hand to help point out the features. If you are in the area...More

Wonderful church. Fabulous carvings. A range of literature / postcards to buy should you so wish. Opening times make it very accessible. The scant remains of the castle are just to the left as you face the church.
