This is the biggest town on the way to EBC. Most people spend two days here for acclimatization and that's what we did. Although given the size of the place you could stay a lot longer, there's plenty to explore and many day hike options....More

I stayed in Zambala home during my namche stayed. I stayed there for 5days. Namche feels like home now. Very friendly and helpful people. And the place is really beautiful..!!! Must visit place.

You can't go by car or bus to Namche as there is no road. You either fly to Lukla and walk 1-2 days or get bus to an earlier point but walk for more days.

Hi! You don’t need a guide for that! Everybody walks the one way which exists! Prepare for lots of hanging bridges! Good luck!
