A nice museum with multimedia representation. I liked how it didn't revolve only around the neanderthals but they made a bigger concept of the museum, like multimedia representation of the creation of the universe and our solar system, earth continents evolving, evolution of the homo...More
Loved it! Very interesting, very educational and on a high level. I would highly recommend it to anyone! It is a bit hard to find it. Not clearly marked, but just park near huge neanderthal on the road and the museum is close.
We were here with our daughter, she just loved it. Museum is interactive, very informal and well explained. Taking photos inside is not permitted, even though they told us that at very end of the visit.
The museum is built almost 'in situ', at the place where most of the artifacts and bone fragments have been found. The fact I love the most is the visit to the museum brought more questions than answers, forcing me to dig myself much deeper...More

It depends on how interested you and your children are in a subject. I would say you can do it in 45 min/1 hour but if you want to take your time and stroll around the park outside the museum than count on 90 minutes minimum.
