We walked this beautiful beach every day. The water was excellent for swimming. There were no vendors or people to interrupt holiday makers. Very relaxing spot,

Go there for peace and calm which you don't get at other much more crowded beached...due to less crowd the beach and the water is cleaner

Our Beaches in Goa especially the North have been mauled, desecrated, spoilt beyond salvation by insensitive tourism and littering tourists. I am at peace to see that Utorda/Majorda stretch of beach though still at risk is being salvaged by a beach cleaning gang. Broken bottles by vandals is a bane on Goan beaches from after effects of drunken behaviour in... More

It's one of the cleaner beaches with lovely powdery white sand. Not many people and few shacks make it attractive. It's a long beach wherein the name of the beach is derived from the village next to it.

So much better than Colva Beach, very relaxed and not too busy. Saw dolphins in the water! There are two or three beach shacks which are fine, nothing special. Zeebop is the real draw for fish / shellfish lovers.

Located in South Goa, it is Quiet and peaceful during the day and lively during the evening. There are couple of good shacks and restaurants lining the beach but not crowded like Baga , Calangute or Anjuna. Personally I like South Goa more than North Goa because there is less crowd, more hospitable shacks and people around here than North... More

Utorda Beach is relatively unknown, least crowded beach of Goa. Two to three basic shacks with sunbed. No shopping area. There are few good high-end resorts are there on walking distance. Powdery sand feel like silk. Mostly foreigner tourist and Indian tourist of nearby resorts. Life guards are very active on the beach as well as on jet scooter in... More

Love this beach for it's wide expanse of soft white sand. Over the last few years the number of people at this beach have increased, but most were families and it still wasn't overly crowded. The quality of shacks on this beach however seem sub par since we tried two and were disappointed in both. Ended up staying only for... More
