I met Felipe four years ago as he was the in country coordinator for a group doing humanitarian relief. Felipe is the kind of person you will want to work with in Nicaragua. This new tour operator in Jinotega organises very well and personal organised tours for a decent price. The guides are well-informed and very friendly. They speak Spanish and very basic English. Recently, 2 friends and I decided to visit Nicaragua. Heard it was less touristy than Costa Rica, but safe and friendly, We didn't want to use an International Tour Company but decided to try and keep it local.
