Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We came across this lovely bay while doing part of the costal walk from Hopeman to Lossiemouth. The view of this from the path is stunning and worth a visit.

Hidden away there are some lovely peaceful beaches and cliff walks. Well worth a visit. Car park tucked away but gives easy access to the beach and walks

Lovely walk from hopeman East beach, be extra careful at one point About 20 minutes in we came to a dead end with a shear drop above the cove , don’t let the kids run a head or the dogs . There is a fork in the path take the right hand side to avoid the cliff edge.
Don’t let this put you off just worth knowing , the cave and cove is a great little hidden gem , rocks to climb , caves to explore all great outdoor fun and free entertainment for all ages.
We ranged from age 60 down to age 3 and really enjoyed the walk .
We built up an appetite and walked back to hopeman west beach for lunch , we spent a few hours in the fresh air which was just beautiful.

I walk this way with my dog most days - how lucky am I? A few years ago I had a friend from Poland visiting and took him here - he loved it and had a photo taken of him in the sea. This year he returned with his girlfriend and asked that I take them there, which I did. They loved it! I desperately wanted him to propose to his girlfriend, but sadly, it wasn’t to be!

I visited this place often as a child - we knew it as Primrose Bay. 50 years later it was just as I remembered it. Happy days!

We adore this beach as a family of 4. Although its a steep walk down its so worth it. The sand is clean and soft and lovely. The water is Crystal clear. We love having a look in the caves. When we have been it's always been pretty quiet. Great to take back pack with picnic in and enjoy rhe view.
