Goegap is not for the fainthearted. We rented a cabin in Goegap Nature Reserve. It is not much but it is a major step up from the campsite. The terrain is beautiful but if you want to get around the reserve and see the full...More
Stunning landscapes and a few antelope while in the reserve! Missed the flower season by a few weeks but enjoyed our drive round in our car. A 4x4 will allow access to alot more than we could access but lovely all the same.
We have visited this reserve a number of times during the past years. The diversity of flowers is always amazing. 2018 was no different, although the region is still in the clutches of a drought, it was still amazing what mother nature dishes up.
Well thought out reserve for visitors with attractions for the visitor with little time to those who want to do the 4x4 trails or go hiking. The quiver trees are stunning and the landscape is beautiful.
This is a jewel within minutes of the town of Springbok. We arrived in late afternoon, with about 2 hours to explore before the gates closed. The staff at reception were exceedingly friendly and helpful, explaining in detail what we could do in the short...More
We visited Goegap in search of wild flowers, but conditions were not quite right. Nevertheless we enjoyed the drive around the reserve, regretting only that we had not come in the 4x4. Sedans are restricted in where they can go in the park.
The spring flowers are famous, but this is a great place all year round, with many photogenic aloes and a great landscape. You can wander around the aloe gardens to see the succulents. There's a nice drive. Would be a good place to stay and...More

We were in Springbok on our way to Augrabies falls and had very little time so were not very sure of staying longer for the reserve. Thanks to TA we gave it a chance and it was definitely one of the highlights of the trip....More
I would definitely recommend a visit. The reserve is very near to Springbok, and costs very little to get in. In the flower season I am sure it is truly stunning.
We were there just prior, and even with the flowers only beginning I was...More
