Zoomarine's brand was created in Portugal where the company Mundo Aquatico - Parques Oceanograficos de Entretenimento Educativo SA - has been running the Albufeire Park since 1991: the first water-related theme park in Portugal.

Zoomarine Italy, inaugurated in September 2005, represents the first amusement & educational theme park of central and southern Italy. Zoomarine is not only a place where having fun thanks to the attractions for both children and grownups such as 4D Movie theatre, Pools and Water park, but it is also a place where environmental education, popular science programs and research are very important features of its philosophy.

Zoomarine's Mission is to teach people to love and respect nature in an engaging way. Through the close observation of animals hosted in the Park, according to the "edutainment" philosophy, Zoomarine is committed to bring both children and grownups in a new exciting world.

Since 2009, Zoomarine Italy is the first Italian Park to be awarded "zoological garden", in compliance with the Legislative Decree 73/2005, and today it is the only Park in Italy to be accredited by AMMPA - Alliance of Marine Mammal Parks and Aquariums - the International association, which gathers all the structures that assure high quality standards for the animal they host and promotes the preservation of the species through educational and research programs.

The 40-hectares park, has different zoological areas such as: the Dolphin's Island, the Pinniped's Bay, the Parrots' Forest, The Predators' Plain and the Little lakes walk - where visitors can admire dolphins, seals, sea lions, tropical birds, birds of prey and water birds.

The zoological areas are located in a beautiful environment characterized by the presence of the typical Mediterranean vegetation, trees and bushes.

Zoomarine only shelters only animals born in the park or in other EAZA (European Associatons of Zoos and Aquaria) zoological structures, and host them under the most rigorous international standards.

Zoomarine is a leader Amusement Park in Italy and it is part of the touristic pole of the city of Rome.

Was a good day out, was in the pool most of it and on water slides. Que for water log was always long but worth it, had lockers you could rent for the day and had sea lion shows, we seen 1 at the very end which was also good. Probably better for younger children but would go back again!

My wife, 7 year old son and I spent the day here on Tuesday 30 August. We'd done a day's sightseeing in Rome the day before and wanted a day to relax. This was perfect. We bought our tickets online, literally half an hour before we arrived and paid €54 for a family ticket (three persons). Entry was painless, probably... More

We paid 90€ to get in today. My niece who is 8 years old paid full price (was charged as an adult because she was 132 cm. This was absolutely despicable. I tried to by the family package online but there was a message that it was closed. When I asked at the ticket office they said the offer was... More

Great Staff – Great Rides – Great Price We went to Zoo Marine this Sunday for the first time, and wish we would have explored this Park earlier in our 3 years living in Italy. This is a great park for kids and teens alike, which is not just a water park, or an amusement park, or a live animal... More

The standard cost is €30 per person. This is extremely way too expensive for what it offers. Despite the great idea to incorporate animals (how are they being treated?) and water attractions into a single water park, the attractions are not many and, of course, you have to make a long line. Moreover, the animals shows are only twice per... More

We visited Zoomarine Park on a warm August Saturday. As you might expect the warm weather had brought people out in their masses and the park was very busy. The park has two roller coasters, a kiddie coaster called Squalotto that is shark themed, and an adult looping coaster called Vertigo. The adult coaster always had a long queue but... More
