Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The drive to the farm was a treat by itself, although unpaved and rough, we enjoyed it very much. Arriving at the farm there was a sense of ease and serenity and a stunning view. When talking to one of the owners, she could tell us a lot about the way of living back in the days and how the products were made. After having some coffee, tea and drinks for the kids with waffles we kindly said goodbye and went down the trail again. Big recommendation from us!

The farm is far from the main street, almost 30 minuets of driving in unpaved road in the mountain, the cheese is not for sale, and there’s no program activities to do with animals like horse riding or feeding goats, etc.

This is no Disneyland or an activity centre, but a summer farm where the goats, cows and horses roam freely. We would like to show how traditional farming was done before. We sell sourcreme, brown cheese and butter. Due to EU - regulations we are not allowed to sell the white cheese. We are sorry you were disappointed, and that your expectations did not correspond to what we actually offer. Maybe an activity in more central areas is more in line with what you seek. Yours Nils Indrehus

An absolute must see to understand norwegian agricultural tradition with horses, cows, goats etc. Combine that with stunning view of mountain view, local food inside the cottage of the owners, is this a genuine unspoiled attraction. This us no tourist trap and thus it is easily appreciated. Give something genuine of yourself and receive the same. Enjoy the place and the couple living there.
