it is a place where most members of the Romanov are buried including the last family so it is great to be seen. There is also audioguide available so we were able to listen regarding Petrograd history

This is not a religious building as the name implies. Rather, it is a somber final resting place for almost all the Russian Tsars. The mosaic interior is amazing and deserves a closer look. Brush up o your Russian histort as you will find the...More

Absolutely something you should see while in St. Petersburg. Take some time to walk around it and view from all sides and of course the interior is quite beautiful too.

For me this was the most beautiful church we saw in Russia. Stunning from the outside and inside. We visited on easter weekend. It was a lovely experience seeing all the people praying and bringing their food for benediction.

Is this the same Cathedral (#5 of 49 Attractions in Peterhof) as the one listed as #31 in 48 things to do in Peterhof? The addresses are a little different (this one is 32 S-P Ave, the other is 115 S-P Ave), and the photos of this cathedral are very different than the ones in #31. THIS is the cathedral I want to see.

Стоимость билетов недорогая, подняться интересно. Виден весь Петергоф и часть ландшафтной панорамы. Насчёт конца реконструкции- обещают на следующий год.
