The gardens are a wonder to see in the spring and they change throughout the year, the gardens take about 1.5 hours to get round, good coffee shop/tea bar, house worth a visit but check opening times.

Visited this place in 2016 as I happened to live a few miles away. Had been desperate to visit but every time I did wish to go, it was closed. Finally got the chance when it was open a few weeks before I moved away...More

Great grounds and house. Luckily Roth child has a say because if it was down to the national trust only it would be a shambles like other of their properties.

A beautiful house set in stunning, very well kept grounds, the floral section being beautiful, now one of our favourite places.

This is a very well maintained garden in true National Trust style, and we enjoyed the colours and shapes. It would have been a five star review, but sadly it is let down by the tea room. In spite of evidence to the contrary, this...More
