Join us on one of our fantastic, relaxed Cook It cookery courses or demonstrations here at Frogmary Green Farm in glorious Somerset, close to the Dorset border. We believe in helping people learn new skills and inspirational recipes. Bring along your friends or come and make some new ones!

We're dedicated to using the choicest local meat, poultry, vegetables, game and fruits sourced in season from our farming friends in and around Somerset.

A group of us ladies went for a sausage making evening, recommended by a colleague. Not disappointed at all. We were firstly shown how to make the sausages and then how to string them. What a lovely day we had here on the cheese making course. Claire and Louise (from Cutting the Curd) made us feel so welcome we immediately felt part of the course rather than just being on the course. Just spent a lovely relaxed morning with Claire & Heneritta making lots of fab things. Excellent teaching skills, I left feeling confident I could make this at home. Thank you ladies.

I attended an "evening of sausage making" and it was amazing ! The venue is delightful, spacious and spotless . I cannot recommend this place too highly and best of all, you get to keep the sausages that you make !!

I attended a cheese-making course at Frogmary Green Farm, run by Louise Talbot and facilitated by Cordelia, the cookery school manager. The facilities are super, with a bright, clean and well planned kitchen that offered plenty of space for us all to learn and a large demonstration island in the middle. Just spent the day learning how to make Hallumi, mozzarella, mascarpone and butter. Absilutely brilliant. Louise Talbot is a great tutor mixing theory with practice. I feel so inspired. Cordelia runs the school and was an amazing 'washing up fairy' (please come stay with us!) We had a lovely welcome of delicious home made cake and coffee and a delightful... More

I did the Artisan Soft Cheese Making course with Louise Talbot, and spent a really interesting and absorbing day learning how to make mozzarella, halloumi and marscapone. The cookery school is on Frogmary Farm near South Petherton (if you book a course, Claire and Nick's travel instructions make it easy to find), in a lovely area of South Somerset countryside.... An excellent, fun evening and very good value for money. Claire and Cordelia welcomed us on arrival at Frogmary and gave us coffee/soft drinks in a beautiful, professionally equipped kitchen. A friendly and inspiring evening ! I had previously avoided tapas bars as I cannot eat chili and was delighted to find that most of the dishes had no chilli or it was optional.
