The temple of Goddess Ghanteswri is on the bank of river Mahanadi. A nice picnic spot with panoramic views. The walk through narrow passage across the power channel flooded with water is indeed very thrilling experience.
Ghanteswari mandir is one of the most famous temples in this area. The soothing atmosphere brings peace to one's body, mind and soul. You can go around after offering prayers to enjoy the beauty of nature. Must visit if you're in Sambalpur or near Chiplima.
Unique but a strange place. As orrisa is full of temples. So any unique place with out temple not possible. Worth visit for devotees. If you have some wish than ask for it to goddess ghanteswari and tie a bell.
