Kata Noi beach is one of my favourites in the whole of Phuket due to the fact it is not that well known. There is a tidy swell here so be careful if you're not that good a swimmer even though there are lifeguards.

This is a nice quiet beach, and much less crowded than Kata beach. Fewer parasails and fewer jet skis. There are two issues to be aware of. One, if you swim, there are mildly stinging jellies and we were stung a lot, though we do...More

What a shame such a perfect beautiful beach is so filthy with rubbish. Unable to swim in the ocean for plastic, ropes, timber, items of clothing and more plastic and more plastic ....just sad and revolting to witness.

Kata Beach is absolutely beautiful to the eye, but if swimming is your thing, it can get a little boring. There are hardly any waves and it feels more like a lake at times. What it lacks in waves and action though, it definitely makes...More

Coming from Australia we are spoilt for beaches, Kata Noi was a dissapointment; as it was the wet season the sea was full of rubbish and not pleasant to be in. The beach itself is nice, small and does not have so many people selling...More

Neighbour to Kata Beach (the name literally meaning “little Kata Beach”), Kata Noi is just under 700m long, but is an amazingly beautiful spot. The sand there is among the finest, the sea among the nicest and the surrounding restaurants among the finest in Phuket.

We were a little late for sunset but little did we know, that’s when the magic began. Kata Noi caters to those staying in the high end villas nearby, so the beach is pretty clear, (maybe because these rich people have the view in the...More

AS opposed to a beach like Karon where you can access from multiple spots this beach just has a narrow corridor to access which is between exclusive beach resorts. Still, once you get to the beach you can wander wherever you like but it did...More

Yes agree with other reply. Taxi tuk tuk is the best bet. Negotiate a fair price. 500baht is standard fare. Beautiful beach, worth the visit, but not to sure during monsoon season.
