Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This was facinating, amazing how they do with the honey and proplis. I even got to hold a whole frame of bees with all the bees on it. We were also shown the stingless bees. Then into the shop area when you can see all the products made with honey etc. Very interesting.

Not a very interesting stop. This was part of a half day tour and was more a shopping stop. Very beautiful place but a waste of time to stop here to buy honey. Could spend have spend the time better.

The Big Bee Farm is sort of a gift shop, the sole distributors of organic honey and a lot of variations made of honey , like tea, coffee, chocolates etc. It is FREE of charge to visit there. They give you a quick free show of a hive, the bees don't bite.

I was going to write a good review on their products (taste wise) until I discovered that they use palm oil in majority of their products, which leads to forrest destruction.

We visited Phuket between 24 Nov 2018 to 05 Dec 2018
We went past Big Bee Farm on our way to the Sat/Sun market. On the way the driver enticed us as to how we must not miss the Big Bee Farm.
We were showed 3 cases of what looked like Beehives then into the shop. It is more of a marketing strategy than Bee farm.
We tasted some of the products and we bought some of the stuff.
I bought a bottle of 1000g sunflower honey which was sold at 120 BHT
When I paid i produced my bank card --- guess what??? 2100BHT was charged on my card which I realized as I went through my bank statement when I arrived back to my country.
My bank sms notification were not active as I changed sim cards when I arrived in Phuket.
Please be careful should you go into this so called Bee Farm , especially when communicating to the staff -- They act as if they do not understand English. Please do not let your bank card out of site and insist on a speedpoint receipt should you pay for purchases in this manner and make sure of the amount entered before punching in your card PIN number.
After my purchase I was handed in a hand written invoice as though the speedpoint machine was not functioning properly to print receipts - that was my guess as the communication was not that effective.
I would have realized on the spot how much I was charged had I insisted on the correct receipt.
PLEASE BE CAREFUL GOING INTO THIS SO CALLED BEE FARM --- SURELY I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE BASED ON THE DISHONESTY AND RIPPING TOURIST OFF IN THIS MANNER.
DISGUSTED!

We just dropped in to buy some honey and were bundled into a small room to receive a ridiculous sales spiel from a guy who didn't listen .... then pushy sales staff tried to sell us a 600 gram jar of honey for £20 .... couldn't wait to get out of the place .... Don't go, just Buzz right on by !

This place was terrible! We visited the "Bee Farm" as part of a tour and it was terrible, not even a farm. It's a shop and a sales room! Upon arrival we were quickly ushered into a room where we all thought we would learn about honey production and maybe see this process. Instead, a guy came in to sell the honey products. I must say, he was a good pushy sales man as some women felt guilty to say no and caved in to buy these honey beauty products. I have never written a bad review before until now, don't usher your guests into a small room and push your products onto us. If I was free to look around the shop, without a doubt you would have got a sale from myself. As soon as we were dismissed from the room our whole tour group made a dash to the exits. Extremely disappointing.

Big Bee Farm is part of our city tour itinerary. I thought we will tour a farm, as in we'll see bees on hives, but we didn't. We arrived there at noon and we were accompanied to a room with lots of products for sell. The guide allowed us to taste the farmed honey. It was good, but after that, we just roamed around the room and checked out the product display. Instead of a farm, I would say that it's more like of a mini-shop of presents and souvenirs. I ended up buying "Bangkok Banana" for my mom who loves sweets. After that, we took photos outside with a big bee and went back to the car to go to the next location. Everything happened in less than 20 minutes I guess.

Drivers in Phuket would make you stop at this location, but it’s nothing to write home about. A very average and extremely small place to really call a place to Visit. There’s a small round walkway and a small store where you could buy things. Both not worth it.
Just good for that one photo that you could put on your travel diary and say Been Here!!!

This place was pretty awesome. We were able to see bees working up close and some were able to lift the honey trees and have a closer look to them (handle at own risk) but was definitely an experience. They do have a store where you can buy honey and some other bee and pollen products, a little bit too expensive in my opinion. Definitely a must check out!
