Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Betinho has a boat called Nani and took us on a tour to the Rio Formosa, Rio Guadeloupe and the beautiful mangroves which are the highest and biggest in Brazil, at least. He also told us about the history of the area where there was a battle between the Dutch and the Portuguese that the Portuguese won. we could have s topped at a beach where you can get a mud bath, but there were too many people so we moved on to a sand bank and then a natural swimming pool where there were as many people as fish! This tour took about 2 hours and cost 150 Reais for the three of us. for 300 Reais he would have taken us to a more remote natural swimming pool with nice corals and more fish, but no people.nnCan certainly recommend Betinho. but please note that he only speaks Portuguese.

For those seeking tranquility and loneliness. Few houses and lack of infrastructure. To me, it was perfect to relax and forget the troubles of the life. Just beware of the jellyfish!

The beach is very beautiful visually, as well as taking you to places like Carneiros and Ilha de Santo Aleixo, but that's it, I don't think it's good for swimming, as it doesn't have waves, but it's worth visiting.
