If you have time this Dam is great to go to on your own during the day. Peaceful and quiet with plenty of walks. The dam is well maintained as well as the lawns around the picnic areas. There is a nice stream with ducks galore and lots of area to sit and have a picnic. It is very quiet... More

Nice area for a BBQ or picnic. Room to kick a ball. Good walk around the dam wall. Nice grassed areas to sit or covered area for shade if you get there early.

The views around this Dam are very good , facilities are limited which is a shame , the dam is in the bush so take personal insect spray as during the summer months flys and mosquitoes can be a nuisance but well worth a visit

Churchman Brook Dam Roleystone is worth a visit. It is family friendly with several BBQ areas, multiple toilet blocks and a grassed area for the kids (and parents) to play footy or whatever.

My Aunt & Uncle are lucky enough to live within minutes of this area, well worth a visit, picnic areas are lovely, and around dusk, you'll see some Kangaroo's for sure.

I have been to this dam a number of times. There is a wall you can walk across to the other side of the dam from the upper level. There are walking trails on the other side where you can see wild orchids in spring and native animals along the way. On the lower level there is a picnic area... More

Good for a family visit/picnics. Somewhere to take the family for short walks. Beautiful setting not far out of Armadale up the Brookton Highway

I stopped in here to kill some time before lunch and found it quite lovely. There's a great picnic area at the bottom of the dam, quite picturesque. Not a lot of water in the dam due to the season, so if you want to see more water in there, head there later in the year.

Lack of water leaves this place looking very dry and uninviting at the picnic area. You can see water in the dam if you go further up the road. Not much shade over the grassed area but they did have a few picnic tables with cover away from the parking area.

Churchman Brook Dam is one of our favourite dams to visit in the Winter. The facilities on offer there for a family picnic are second to none...that is excluding food and beverages as you need to bring your own everything. Toilets, shade, green areas and lots of shady tables and benches are everywhere. Parking is also good and not forgetting... More
