Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Mangrove garden is a whimsical place to visit. Where you can see a lot of mangroves. What I like also in the place is their unique bamboo tower and the bamboo rail.

This is one of the places that I recommended you visiting when you are on Bantayan Island. If you want to learn more about the importance of mangrove trees in nature, then you must visit this place. This place is simply beautiful. You would hear the chirping birds, flying around the area. The place seems so serene and refreshing.
The best time to visit here is during high tide.

Entrance fee of 50Php, and you can borrow their sombrero as well if you can’t tolerate the sun. Anyway, the area seems nice and the staff are all smiles! When we visited, there were newly planted Mangroves on the area and it’s so fascinating to see how well they cater the place. It’s not just for tourist but for nature as well. The famous Camp Sawi sign is there and at the end of the line you’ll see the Camp Wagi sign with the view of the vast horizon ahead! Simply worth your time and sweat!
And if you’re feeling hungry, they have a restaurant as well. And outside, Manong Buko juice is there to offer his fresh buko juice :)

This is a lovely little restaurant with some amazing fresh food.
Really nice place to sit and eat with a breeze coming off the water.
Everything we tried was delicious I just wish I wasn’t too full to try the home made icecream.
Nice walk along the bamboo walkways through the mangroves after lunch and don’t forget your 5peso to feed the fish.

Nice place for picture taking w/ Mangroves. The "CAMP SAWI" sign was transferred here. Nothing much to do here actually but nice to visit.

Good to hire a trike (which we did) or get directions and rent a motor bike. Beautiful mangroves with nice floating docks/walkways that seem to go on forever but it actually circles around. If you’re able to , climb up the tower for a nice view of this and flowing into the open sea. We saw which someone there called needle fish in the water . Hundreds of them! I think they might be razor fish? Worth the time to visit.

I have been there for a couple of times with my classmates and workmates. The first time I visited this place they have some animals and It was quite dangerous(because of the bridge) but when I came back there last year I was amazed the place was renovated and it's a must to visit especially if you are a nature lover. You can also help the environment by planting mangrove for only 50 pesos.

The place is well maintained and they have this unique bamboo bridge. The mangroves are plenty and beautiful. It is worth a visit especially if you want to take pictures because it is IG friendly. But there's nothing else to do. So if you are not fond of greens and doesnt want to tire yourself from walking, then do not go here.
Entrance is P50 and btw they have a restaurant too.

I was highly disappointed. Arrived there at lowtide. The receptionist/cashier collected our admission price along with another couple we did not know. Once we entered the Mangroves it was apparent to all of us that we this is a high tide activity. During low tide there is nothing to see except roots.
We all felt that information should be posted which explains that the Mangroves are best viewed during high tide.
