Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I guess there's been so much said and descriobed of this attration that there's no need to voice repeated sighs of excitement, here. Just a few, hopefully, useful remarks. The routes within the are relatively poorly described by the administrators. What I predominantly mean here is the varied difficulty of the particular routes/paths that is not expressed clearly enough (and the folks visiting the spot are of all age and fitness). Insofar the circular routes (the green path and the blue path) taken from the Adrspach entrance are relatively easy for everyone, the yellow path (going to the small lake and further on down to Teplice) is much more difficult, especially in the area immediately adherent to the small lake where you can have a boat ride. The further part of this path (some 2 km, coming from the town of Teplice towards Adrspach until the path starts to ascend) are quite easy and can be done by eveyone.
One more thing: on many spots with a remarkable altitude difference, the small wooden steps are either in bad condition, or are so narrow that the foot can easily slip in between two steps - quite dangerous, indeed! Thus, everyone is advised to have proper shoes and to really take care while taking the wooden steps up or down the rocks.
Good luck and enjoy the trips, since it is really worth taking the challenge!

It is 3 hours by train from Prague so I suggest you stay overnight, perhaps 3 nights. There are several trails. At the Adrspach end of the long trail [8km, but several hours up and down, to Teplice nad Metuji] there are a few easy walks and a beautiful tourquoise pool to to stroll around, and have a picnic. The trails at this end are marked green, and in the midst of the longer trail you can join the yellow trail which takes you across peat bog, on a roughly made, narrow board walk. There is a pool where the water is a rich red, from the minerals leached into it, and huge rocks standing out of it. This trail joins the blue trail, which requires reasonable fitness, if you take the steepest option. It is worth it, as you go through Wolf Gorge.
It was amazing when we were there at the end of April. The winter had been severe and the snow was high everywhere in the gorge, even though it was approx 30deg C crossing the bog. The sun doesn't get into the gorge and the towering rocks are dark green with lichens. What an experience! A small 2 carriage train runs between the towns, [and other towns], every hour or two so you don't have to do the hike back. There is also plenty of accommodation in the area. We stayed in the hotel Javor which was very nice and the meals were tasty and reasonably priced. There are also guest houses for a cheaper option. Trains in Czech are very cheap.

We came by car from Karpacz. Car parking was for free. Entry tickets can be paid by card (two adults and one kid is 310kr). Toilet is for free.
We entered Rocks at around 1100 - I would recommend to come earlier to avoid crowds. We followed the green line and then yellow one to the lake (we didn’t visit lake by boat - we walked there). Cost of boat trip is 50kr.
First half of walk is very flat and not challenging at all but the second half - plenty of stairs - quiet narrow and steep.
Blue lane leads around beautiful lake.
Please note that some of the parts might be challenging for kids, bigger (one of the paths is 50cm wide) or elderly people.

What a fantastic day out. We drove from Wroclaw in Poland to go here for the day. It took around 3 hours in the car. As it was out of season it was very quiet. The weather was gorgeous - nice blue skies and no wind.
We followed the green route which took just over 3 hours, but we fid walk quickly at times. There are lots to see and the views are breath taking.
Although it was a warm day it was cold between the rocks.
There are plenty of steps, so not great for disabled of those who do not like steps.
It was well worth the visit and we really loved it. Take plenty of water with you when you go, you will need it, even if not very hot.

We did a day trip to Adrspach from Prague, and we were wonderfully surprised by the natural beauty of Adrspach. The rock formations are awe-inspiring, and the lake itself is very picturesque. Both the green trail (around the rocks) and the blue trail (around the lake) needs to be done. Must recommend to anyone visiting Prague and looking to do a day trip to get away from the hustle of the city.

What an amazing place! The rock formations are incredible, you feel so small next to the giant rocks. Took us about 4h to complete the trail, the map was enough, no need for a guide.

The Adrspasske Skaly - Rock Town is an area in the north-east of Czech Republic with beautiful rock-formations. The area is easy to navigate as there is basically only one way how to go through it. You will see many very nice rock-formations that resemble something. If you are not easy on foot, or dislike heights, it may not be for you. You have to climb quite a lot of steps, and sometimes there are views from some high position. One passage - called "mouse hole" - is indeed very narrow, so may not be suited for those who suffer from claustrophobia. The area is a real hidden gem. It is quite remote from most large places (Nachod and Trutnov are the nearest). From Prague it is a 4,5 hour trip with public transport - so it is better to have your own car. As it is very close to the Polish border, you will see many Polish tourists visiting the area. Family entry is 170 CZK. Parking is 100 CZK for car. There are two small lakes in the area where you can rent boats. Swimming is not allowed in the lakes. Outside the area there is a restaurant and a number of buffets where you can get food. The area is really well kept, very clean. If you like interesting nature, and are in the neighborhood, very advisable.

This park is divided into two sections. Adrspach is by far the more popular and with good reason. There is a good quality path that loops around several dozen amazing rock features. You can get an English brochure when you buy your ticket which outlines the major features. The way some of them appear such as the upside down sugar cone is quite amazing. Others such as the Mayor and Mayoress are quite visually spectacular. The circuit does involve some climbing to take in some of the regional views but there is a short cut track just past the Lovers feature which skips the steepest sections.
From here you can take a short boat tour on the lake or take the connecting track to the Teplice end of the park. Teplice is less popular and much more rugged with fewer features and they are more overgrown. It is a lot more effort to take in the features at Teplice. Castle Strmen is an incredibly steep climb featuring steps and ladders but the views on the top are outstanding.
Both sights have good car parks and a range of small souvenir stores and eateries. Note that bathroom facilities are only available at the entrances. Once you enter the park you are on your own.
If you only have time to do part of the park Adrspach is the pick.
