This is a nice beach, not to big but very touristic because of the beautiful beangil cave. Also nice to have a walk around in the rocjy dunes.

We enjoyed our day at this beach. We were tempted by the boat trip to see the caves but at 25 euro we thought it a bit pricey. We were glad we chose not to as the best cave is a short swim to the...More

This place worth the trip. When we came to the beach there are no supsurfs available to reach the cave. So we went to the nearest shop and bought inflatable mattress, bought sparkling wine and swam to the cave. And now I am seriously recommend...More

Highly recommend going there. But please make sure not to take the boat tours if you want to spend time at the cave. The tours will tell you that they let you swim in the caves depending on weather but you can only swim for...More

Worth a visit very steep walk though so if not very fit You would struggle the walkup the hill very difficult but a lot of the beautiful beaches are like that around the Area steps or steep hills .

If there weren't boat tours going from here, I would have never come to this beach, is too small so it's always overcrowded, not good for swimming because of the strong waves and currents.

Algarve beaches are world famous, and rightly so. The sea is clean, though colder than the med and local town halls keep the beaches clean and well maintained. Avoid August, that’s peak beach time.
