This temple is a Shaktipeeth. The head of Ma Sati was dropped here. It has a trek of 1.5 km to reach temple. Hawan kund is also available. You will get the best pictures as this is the top of Dhanaulti.

the Temple is located a highest peak in the locality making a perfect view point. The walk is mild are the walk way is paved. The temple is beautifully constructed and is a photographers delight.

This is a very beautiful hill top temple that is a short steep trek away. The views from the top are magnificent. The temple is very well maintained and it's a calming experience. If you're in Kanatal, this is one thing you should be doing.

One and only in Uttarakhand amongst 52 shaktipeeth. A holy place for all garhwali locals. A strong will power is must to go on foot otherwise horse is a better option to go on top.

From Dhanaulti you can easily get buses to Kaddukhal, from where one has to start the trek to Surkanda. You can also get shared jeeps from there as both the points- Dhanaulti as well as Kaddukahl are right on the main road... More
