The one piece of advice I’d give is that due to current Covid problems, a lot of the tour was taken outside, including the welcome drink. Although the setting is lovely, on a windy day, it was very chilly and therefore warm clothing is a must. Apart from that, the welcome was great and the lady gave an interesting talk on the history of the vineyard before letting us walk around at our leisure. It’s worth a walk down to the lake although you can’t walk all the way round. After that, you have your wine tasting- inside- with a variety of white, rose, red plus a sweet sherry like wine. It would be a great tour during the summer.

Thanks so much for your review Annie. Totally agree, the wind can be cold especially in October. We're normally open from March to September but stayed open into the October this year due to visitor demand after being closed for Covid for 4 months. We're open all year round for vineyard walks, wine tasting and sales, every Saturday afternoon 1-4pm. Hope to see you again soon. Helenka

A lovely relaxed few hours, lovely friendly staff x a great insight into the vineyard industry and history of the family which was lovely to hear x I loved how the business is so family orientated x Beautiful setting as well. I bought for a gift for my partners birthday who loves a glass of wine, I’m not a great wine drinking but the wines was actually very pleasant and I may just have been converted 😊 We hope to come back with the children to help harvest the grapes in the future x

When we received a viucher for a vineyard tour and wine tasting at a local vine yard we had never stumbled across before, we did wonder if it would be another pretentious expert telling us we should be sensing asparagus, lemons and morning dew. Instead we had a very interesting tour and talk from the passionate owners about their ‘project’ and the basics of growing vines away from the South of England. The views from the vineyard are stunning. Great wines, a fab platter as an extra and owners that gave it a personal touch, even smooth talking our taxi driver so we could stay a further 10mins. Would recommend to anyone interested in an evening sampling local wines and finding out how it is produced!

It's a great experience and the talk and tour is very interesting. We enjoyed it and would recommend it. One niggle: for £35/head, you need more than one bottle for a tasting when there are 30+ people in the room. Don't cut corners, it won't pay back.

Thanks for your feedback, it's actually only 17.50 per head though, so with a glass of wine as your welcome drink, tastings of 6 wines including 2 sparkling and 2 hours entertainment, we hope it's great value for money.

Went here for a wine tasting experience. This starts with a drink upon arrival, tea, coffee or wine. The owner, Helena, talked about how her parents started making wine ten minutes drive away and this led to them buying this land and planting their own vineyards leading to wine production. This was followed by a walk round the vineyard to see how they grow etc. The finale was the wine tasting. This was 6 wines, 2 white, 2 sparkling plus a mead and cherry wine. There was a reasonable glass of each. This was the latest wine tasting of many in vineyards around the world and Helena was. Natural entertaining us while informing and engaging with us all too. There was the opportunity of buying the wine too.
