Koh Racha Yai is a tropical island 30 miles south of Phuket. The island is beautiful with hidden treasures not just the main beach with its white sands, great snorkelling and The Racha villa complex but quiet little beaches with excellent snorkelling and dive sites....More

We arrived early with our speedboat on the island. This realy was a beach out of paradise. White sands, turquoise water, fish in the water,.... but when it gets a bit later, the beach gets overcrowded. I think the best way to enjoy this paradise...More

This island has powder white sands, clear water ideal for snorkeling. Although it is a small island, it is bustling with sea sports activities in its many bays

The main beach, where the Racha Hotel is, is paradise before 10 am and after 4pm during those times it is teeming with mainly Chinese daytrippers who take selfies all day and litter the beach! The Siam beach where the Rayabura hotel is is beautiful...More

The tour brought us to a small beach with so many people. There are few stores and looks like they were temporary built. Chairs were worn out and broken and mildew. It cost 20 Bahts to use the toilet and it smells. So don’t plan...More

So disappointed, this was one of the worst days I've ever spent. The island was so horrendously overcrowded , the beach had massive rocks underfoot, the surrounding area was littered with rubbish all in the greenery and on the beach. Walking across to other beaches...More

You could snorkel, but the water is not very clear and little bit choppy! You could also go to the village where there is a nice Muslim family restaurant (if you want) and swim at the beach!
