Great boat Trip today from Elgol to do a walk to Loch Coruisk. Lovely friendly Crew on the boat and at the Kiosk.. Brilliant walk into the Loch fantastic views of the Cullins a bit misty on the tops but still excellent. Definately recommend

This was such a lovely boat trip, to a very hard to reach place called the Callum Mountains. The skipper was really good and gave great commentary. We saw seals resting and had plenty of time to explore. This trips was definitely a highlight from my trip to Skye.

We wanted to do a boat trip whilst on holiday in Skye and Katie from Taigh Ailean suggested Misty Isle. All of us agreed that this trip was the highlight of the holiday. The drive down to Elgol is also stunning. We set off at 9:30, there were only 9 of us on board and so plenty of space. The skipper was full of information about the trip and wildlife and managed to get the balance spot on in terms of giving information and giving us time to just look and enjoy that magical scenery. We did see a seal colony which was a highlight for my son - aged 5. We then had about 90 minutes ashore. We had a picnic and I went to a swim in the loch. In June after some hot weather the water was not too cold for just a swimsuit but you do need something on your feet as the stones are sharp and slippery. With a slow walking 5 year old and carrying a picnic and swimming gear it took us no longer than about 10-15 minutes to reach the loch. It is possible to have longer ashore before getting a boat back to Elgol but for us the timing was just right for a swim and a short picnic.

Really enjoyed the trip, the son of the skipper was very hilarious telling us all about the local history and stories, we also were able to stop by the seal colony. Absolutely do this trip, plus loch corisuick is beautiful.
