If you are in that part of Switzerland, I highly recommend you go to Blausee. It is stunning and serene.

The emerald lake and Swiss mountainous background really takes you away in this place. It is a small park with an entrance fee, which was unexpected as the pictures I saw suggested that this might be a lucky find in the wilderness. There is a...More

The Blausee lake is within the Nature Park Blausee. The lake is a short but spectacular walk through the forest. There are well marked walks throughout the forest. The forest is very special and very beautiful, filled with moss and fern covered boulders. You have...More

The beautiful transparent blue waters of the lake makes it a very pretty sight! However this is a small place and not much that one can do. We were okay because our toddler had a small park to play around. People also find spots to...More

You pay for the parking and entrance and then walk in to see....A LARGE POND. It's just a rip off. Stay away. Shame on the Swiss for allowing this.

Place ka very crowded and nothing interesting to see here. Better explore other places during time spent here. Ticket price 8chf for adults and 4chf for kids. Try to avoid this place

Not really worth the costs and the entrance fee. It’s basically a 50 meter lake with a fence around it, ticket machines in front and inside it’s packed full of tourists. There are nicer places in the area which offer more quiet and beautiful sceneries.

There is no direct connection from Zermatt to Blausee. However, you can take the train to Frutigen, take the walk to Frutigen Bahnhof, then take the line 230 bus to Blausee BE. You may download SBB app. It is very handy... More
