Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Took my dog on a sunny 22C day and we only ran into a handful of people. The beach is huge and perfect for pooches to run around. The car park LN12 1PQ cost £3.20 for the day, we arrived at 10.45 and left at 1.00. It’s a short walk through the dunes to the beach, we did get lost on the way back trying to find the car park as there isn’t a sign off the beach so beware. The sea was very far out so it took about 20 minutes to walk to it but the sand is smooth so a nice walk. Will definitely be coming back again!

What a find on the wild Lincolnshire coast. Our visit was on the 1st July - a rather blustery, warm but windy day and we virtually had the beach to ourselves. And what a beach! Vast expanse of soft sand laying flat between the pretty dunes and the sea. No frills just a carpark with a parking code and a notice board, but with a huge beach to relax on and a pretty walk through the dunes this is a perfect place to unwind! Lincolnshire really does have some unspoilt spots if you stay clear of the towns and take a picnic. Simple and lovelt!

Thirteen year old boy did some beach casting and caught 11 plaice - tide was on the way out too! 10 year old girl did some splashing in the wonderfully shallow water. Great beach, massive, perfect for social distancing. Wind break is advisable. Sand is very soft and lovely.

A lovely walk to see the remains of a comet tank on the beach. Its interesting to think about all the history and what happened here all those years ago. The sea was quite far out but there was some areas where it was a bit slippy so you might need to take care.
If you are travelling by car it’s best to put “Churchill lane LN12 1PQ into the sat-nav, Churchill Lane is a narrow road but there is a small car park at the bottom where you use the Ring-Go app to pay for parking. From there it is a roughly 10 minute walk through the metal gate on the left hand side.

This is a very lovely beach with a lot of space for anyone who enjoys a naked walk and a dip in the sea. I only saw 3 dog walkers on my trip there and me sat naked on a towel soaking up the sun didn't bother them because 2 waved and one couple said hello. There are plenty of places in the dunes out of view to get your all over tan if you're bothered about being seen.
Well worth a visit.

This place is excellent for taking the dogs on the beach. We come about 12 times a year as we live about 30 miles from the beaches...always quiet...so great for the whippers to run and our Jilly Rusell to chase...so if you know us plaese say hello.

A superb area of dunes, marsh and beach. It is a nature reserve. I make this point because most of the visitors appeared to think that it is an exclusive dog walking facility.
I like dogs and have owned them in the past, however wildlife and dogs DO NOT mix well. I witnessed unleashed dogs chasing wild birds today and owners throwing dog faeces wrapped in plastic into the dunes. If it were a few individuals it would not be a significant problem but dog ownership is now historically high and few owners bother to train or control their animals. Time to disallow the presence of dogs at this reserve. There are plenty of other areas close by that serve as dog toilets and wildlife needs all the help it can get.

The most glorious stretch of sand. A great place to take the dogs. In fact practically everyone that was there had a dog. If you’re scared of dogs or have children who are it’s probably not the beach for you. There are some other fabulous beaches in the area where dogs are not allowed.

I visited the beach over a few weekends during the heatwave of 2018.
The area I chose was north of the Churchill lane car park.
The beach is huge and ideal for anyone who feels the urge to strip off for an all over tan, or just to feel nature's elements upon their naked body and maybe a skinny dip!
The beach is large enough, so you don't need to be in close proximity of other beach users, unless 'they' choose to be. When I visited, there were only handfull f dog walkers in the distance.
The sea was quite a way out but it made for a very pleasant naked walk on the soft sand and then a skinny dip in the sea, which was surprisingly warm!
This beach is perfect for anyone who has never experienced a naked walk in the open air, or skinny dip, due to its size and the small number of people there. Once you have experienced nature's elements, the warm breeze and the sea's waves lapping upon your naked body, I would doubt you would ever want to wear a swimming costume again! and you can say goodbye to tan lines too!
For those not aware, 'simple non sexualized' public nudity is perfectly legal in England and Wales, as long as it is not your intention to cause 'Alarm or Distress'. So no lewd behaviour and you'll be okay.

I want to make it clear that this area is NOT an official naturist site. The police have been informed and they make period checks for this kind of activity. Take note. You will be charged. Guaranteed.

Is it possible to ride horses on this beach, and if so, where would be good to park?
Thanks,
Judy

When I visited during the summer of 2018, there were horse riders there, but there was a sign, prohibiting the riding of horses north of the Churchill lane beach access. Hope this helps.
