Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We visited in Sep 2019, but TA will not let you backdate reviews more than 12 months.
While making the beach rounds on the northern coast of Milos, we stumbled upon Mandrakia. It’s a cute little beach where you will find tiny little colorful fisherman’s boat houses called “Syrmatas,” and some of the bluest water on the island. We only passed by here on the way west towards Pollonia. I would recommend stopping by to check it out and maybe stay for lunch at Medusa Cafe nearby, which got superb reviews.

Great little beach which doesn’t seem to be too busy as it is not highlighted as one of the main attraction beaches.
Nice clear sandy beach and lovely areas to swim and snorkel

Mandrakia is a very small town on Milos with a small church, nice local tavern and a small beach for swimming and sunbathing

Boat houses, covered bay, few houses, and the magic of a place that seems to have existed forever. Worth visiting and enjoying

Milos Island is so beautiful and this cute, quaint village of Mandrakia definitely is a part of it. Situated close to Sarakiniko, the clear waters, colorful doors and boats makes such a delight to witness the Greek beauty.

It was just 10 minute drive from our Santa Maria village hotel in Amadas to Mandrakia. There is ample parking off the main road, and just a 50 yard walk to the boat inlet and Medusa Cafe. The beach is good on a calm day, but not as enjoyable when it is windy. Beautiful scenery worth a stop to soak up some sun or for a photo op.

We stayed in Adamas and took the bus to Sarakiniko and walked along the coastal path to Mandrakia. The path is not very distinctive but it's hard to go wrong. It took us about 40 minutes and it wasn't a very demanding walk.
Mandrakia is a lovely little village with colourful boat houses reflecting into the sea. There is one cafe/restaurant there which can get busy as it's in a lovely spot over looking the shore.
From Mandrakia we walked up hill to the bus stop in Triovassalos which was a bit of a huff and puff walk, and took us around 30 minutes. The bus took us back to Adamas.
A good day's outing, lots of great views and some needed exercise.

So beautiful and so impessive with fishermen caves standing against quiet Aegean waters, makes you daydream about pastimes with its crystal water and the caves with the colorfully painted doors....

Wonderful small fishing village on the north side of Milos. There are so many beautiful places and scenery to see in Milos and this is one of them . Great pictures to be had here.

Hi we are staying on the Pollania Village. We have rented ATV's. Can we navigate around the island beach to beach?
