We first visited the Shiraz Republic Winery/Cornella Brewery back in November 2021, as we drove in to the cellar door my wife noticed that they had cabins on the property. We were greeted by their 2 very friendly dogs on arrival. The 5 beers that I tasted were to my liking so I had to purchase one of all their beers and a couple of bottles of wine.
We returned early May 2022 for a 3 night stay in one of the cabins, which was very comfortable with plenty of room for us to relax. Each afternoon we would visit the tap room and enjoy drinks over the bar before retiring to our cabin for the night. As an avid home brewer I was able to discuss beers and styles with head brewer Matt.
We cannot speak highly enough of Brian and crew who were very eager to make our stay so memorable, thank you so much we will be back.

This venue oozes rustic country charm. Not your usual winery. A wine cellar door accompaniment with a craft beer brewery. This place will keep all who visits interested. After wine tasting we stayed for lunch. A woodfired pizza was well enjoyed amongst the aged decor. The staff were friendly & accommodating. Worth the drive to check this place out. As we were leaving it was noted that free music / bands are here each weekend.

FANTASTIC day as part of Rent a Row experience. The picking and crushing moved at a good pace then we sat back and enjoyed pizzas and a vino accompanied by a vibrant happy band playing in the background. Indoor or outdoor tables with plenty of shade if needed. Do yourself a favour if you like wine - get friends together and Rent A Row!

Friendly, welcoming place. Catered for all our needs, sampling wine, beer, pizzas including gluten free pizza. Wasn’t sure what to expect but the wines were delicious. We left with 12 bottles! Great to come for lunch with a glass of wine/beer and chill with friends listen to live music or to sample the wines and beers on offer. Staff were friendly and attentive but left you to sample at your own pace. A great gem in heathcote.

Cannot recommend this place enough!
About 2 hours from where i live, felt like a little getaway & this location is perfect. The drive alone is very scenic.
Arriving at the property you get a great vibe instantly. The cellar door is what you will see first & there is a pool table setup outside, there was a band playing some country music & groups of friends/families having a quiet drink & eating some nice wood fire pizza.
Annie the dog is also there to greet you & love a belly rub! Bryce & Spencer made the check-in/check-out process really straight forward & nothing about this stay feels formal. Just a really relaxed vibe from start to finish.
We stayed in Cabin 5. 1 Bedroom. The views from the room were amazing. The outdoor deck is great for a late night drink/snacks. As for the room itself, the couch/bed are very comfy. Shower has great water pressure and there is a kitchenette if you feel like cooking.
The biggest tip i can give you if you decide to cook is that pick up some food at the Heathcote IGA on the way as its about a 22 minute drive from the property and the closest shopping centre.
All in all this was a perfect trip. Will be back & might get a group of us together to book out all the rooms!

Excellent craft beers to try. The amber ale is especially good. I usually don't like a gose but their Shiraz sour was great. Hazy
Eclipse worth a try too. I bought a slab of each. The tempranillo red wine was an afterthought but we ended up with a half dozen of those as well. We left about $500 lighter but better for the experience. So far this has been the best of our Heathcote experiences.

This winery is rustic, offering pizza, live music on Sunday afternoon around outdoor fire pits. No sign of tastings on offer, but you can sample their wines by the glass. Indoor and outdoor dining, this venue is casual and very laid back. Not quite what we expected but a pleasant enough experience nevertheless.

Such a relaxed vibe at this cellar door and tap room. There's something for everyone. We enjoyed a beer paddle and wine tasting, delicious pizzas and live music while there. We even had a chat with one of the winemakers. Highly recommend. Plus they're family and dog friendly.

Sitting outside, listening to local music, eating really good, thin crust pizza and drinking local wine. Excellent!

This is a fabulous place. The Wine and beer produced is fantastic and easy to drink. The grounds are gorgeous and Brian (Winemaker and President) and Spencer (Brewer and President Elect) very welcoming.
Try Rent a Row a great initiative for those that want to have their own vines and make their own wines but don't want to outlay for a Vineyard this is the way to go.
Go visit and take your overseas visitors for a taste of the Australian rural landscape and hospitality.
