About
Lakeside is a unique water sports facility in a unique location. We offer water sports for all levels, from novice to experienced slalom skiers. For some wet & wild fun on the water our inflatable rides are very popular for all ages. Our restaurant/sports bar, the Lakeside Brasserie is a great place for relaxed family dining, with a fantastic sun terrace overlooking the lake.

Me and my wife were back down this area for the 2nd time this year and visited this place.

Had an amazing time at Lakeside Ski and Wake. Facilities there are great and the staff are so helpful and kind. Have to give particular praise to Hope who did everything she could to offer reassurance and helpful instruction whilst we were both skiing and wakeboarding. She really makes the effort and we were so happy to have her on our session. Will definitely be back soon as we're already planning our next trip.

Enjoyed an amazing holiday at Spring Lake with exceptional fun at the Lakeside Ski and Wake. Special thanks to Freddie and Jake for the water sports and wakeboarding for the children, who really made our holiday so much fun! All staff were incredibly welcoming, and the food at the Lakeside Brasserie was excellent. Highly recommend.

Had the best time at Lakeside Ski & Wake! The staff were extremely welcoming and patient whilst me and my friends ate and drank inside (which was extremely delicious 😋). The staff outside explained how to use the ringos and how to call for help if needed. This was a great activity to do during my stay at the lake and will definitely be back again! Thank you 🙏🏼

An amazing birthday!
Brilliant coaches and we had such a blast on the rides.
Even had a bite to eat, food was delicious and so well priced for what we got.
Definitely try the lakeside club burger!

Arrived and asked quite snottily, if we’d booked (restaurant had approximately 5 table occupied and around 10-15 empty. We were put outside in the ‘pub area’. Ordered the scrambled eggs on toast which looked nice but had water all over the plate. The toast was waterlogged and not very nice. I ate around a quarter of it and couldn’t eat anymore. When asked if our food was ok I said no and explained. The girl apologised. She then came back out and said she’d spoken to the chef who said ‘they’ve never had any complaints before, the water was ‘butter and there was not a problem as far as the chef was concerned’ but they’d taken it off our bill anyway. One of the ladies serving was very nice and apologised this had happened but not a good experience will not be back.

Fabulous experience for my 3 teenagers! Holidaying in the Water park, we booked a beginners Wake boarding lesson for my daughters 17th birthday - she enjoyed every minute - all the staff were welcoming, patient and friendly - worth every penny! My 2 teenage boys (13 & 15) thoroughly enjoyed their 'inflatable experience' - what a fantastic thrill! Dan invited me to travel in the boat during both experiences, so I got to video and photograph the memories too (and enjoy a fabulous speedboat ride!). Thoroughly recommend this activity - 5 star! Thank you so much x
(Practical notes: Changing rooms, showers, toilets are available, and are clean, warm and well equipped. Wetsuits are provided if you need them too.) The restaurant attached to this facility is available for food and drinks but is very pricey for a family and tables need to be booked in advance if you want to eat as it is very popular!

Fantastic sessions recently with Dan at Lakeside. My daughter is a regular wake boarder at Lakeside, so I was desperate to be able to stand on a board and give it a good go. Dan's patience and coaching was brilliant and I managed to get up on the board, if only for a little while. We also had a go on the ringos, which has to be a must do for everyone at least once in life. Result was, daughter thrown out of ringo, dad managed to stay in for the whole ride despite great effort to throw me out - loved it, brilliant fun.

We were a family group of 7 with adults and kids 11,13,15 and all water skiing beginners. Our trainer was Dan who was very patient and a great teacher. Nearly everyone was standing by the end of their session and those that didn’t were keen to give water skiing another go. We also hired the inflatables for the kids after which was great fun. We visited on a Tuesday which meant there was no food available but that meant the terrace was quieter for anyone who is nervous of learning in front of an audience. Although a slightly more expensive activity it was definitely a holiday highlight for our group.

We booked Lakeside ski & wake as the last leg off a stag weekend, 2 occasional skiers, 1 advanced wakeboarder and an old 'would be' slalom skier (me). A great welcome from Dan and immediately felt very relaxed and at home. Super facilities, great boats and an unhurried but highly professional approach.
