Its hard to know where to begin. The house and the garden are both exquisite jewels. the Arts and crafts house is one of only two remaining designs of Lutyens with elegant detail. likewise, the gardens are a combination of formal 'rooms' and rolling woodland...More

Since you enter the gates, you feel how full of character and meaning these gardens are. Even though I only spent here a little more than 1 hours, I could easily have spent a whole day getting lost and finding my true self here. The...More

The gardens are quite lovely with various places to enjoy, both very formal as well as informal. Beautiful views over the ocean, the family continues to work in the garden every day. Just a lovely day out!

Loved everything about Varengeville-sur-Mer, especially these wonderful gardens. The price is steep compared to the châteax and manoir prices in the region, but in the end it was worth it. It must cost a small fortune to upkeep these grounds. We went on a cool...More

Varengeville sur mer looks pretty posh. And poshest place in town is the Parc du Bois de Moutiers. Even the car park is smart. It's a historic monument rather than a private residence these days. The house itself was designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens who...More

Don't think so. There's a nice bakery just up the road, but we ate in Les Régates Restaurant down the hill in Pourville sur Mer
