Lovely place, great staff, tried a couple of beers in the lovely old brewery shed. Can't wait to try the others we brought. We were recommended a local pub that stock their beer, which was good too. Would love to do the full tour, but live too far away, maybe if we are that way again

I've been on brewery tours before, but none as good as this You meet up in their shop where free ale awaits you. So sitting with a pint you get a really down to earth history of the place Then for a tour that doesn't baffle you with science Then back to the shop for more samples, chance to chat... More

Compact and Bijoux . The big front to the pub was full of people laughing and joking. We went inside because it was cold and we had just been to that theatre just over the road. The bar area is compact and if a few guys of a reasonable size stand by the door entrance is difficult. Not brilliant if... More

We went there yesterday as we love 'Bob' beer, the tour was very interesting and Paul is the brewer. He conducted the tour and explained the process very well at a pace all could understand, walking around the building and hearing the history of both the building plus the brewery was well explained. Dave who worked with Paul did a... More

Booked this tour through groupon with a friend. We've never been on a brewery tour before and didn't really know what to expect. The tour was very impressive, you learn all about the history of the brewery up to present day and the staff make the talk fun and interesting. Very laid back atmosphere and 4 pints of free beer... The staff here were extremely welcoming, on arrival we were informally offered a Pint and given a seat while we waited for the tour to begin. The tour is conducted by one of the brewers, who really know what they are talking about, and obviously loves their job. We were give an access all areas tour, with a complete explanation... More

We were given a tour as an anniversary gift and it is the best tour we have been on. Proper beers to begin, not tiny tasters. Get public transport there if you really what to try a good few beers. You can drink as much as you like, within reason. The staff are really friendly and engaging and the tour... More

Whilst we were in the area on a long weekend we arranged to go into the local brewery in the village whose name the brewery takes of Wickwar. Apart from the fact that the "real ale" is first class the staff including the brewing team are highly professional and very helpful and friendly. If you are in the area on... More

On Saturday my husband and I went on the brewery tour at Wickwar. It has been on the cards since I promised it to Matt at Christmas. It was easy to find and we were immediately left in the capably hands of Paul (brewer) and Deb's (shop manager) and may beers to try. It was a lovely relaxed start to... More
