Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Love Black Water. It always seems to be quieter than Rogie falls. Great to see the toilets open for people too. Found a great walk down the steps by the old road bridge and found another smaller waterfall further downstream. Colours were amazing. Will be stopping again when we are next passing.

Visited here with family, it is a lovely place to go walking. The children and the dogs had a great time. The car park was full but, we hardly saw anyone on our way round. The children especially liked the play park just over the stone bridge. Would recommend going here.

Just off the A835 it this picturesque spot featuring the Black Water Falls and Silverbridge, an old stone bridge over the water which you can walk down to and underneath. Well worth stopping here to stretch your legs and marvel at the stonemasons' workmanship.

Been visiting these falls for years and always love seeing them.

The black water and sheer force of the falls are amazing to watch.

The falls are viewable from a wheelchair accessible bridge.

Plenty of different aspects for photography and it's incredible when the river is in spate, however, when it is, DO NOT get too close, one slip and you'd be in the 'washing machine' on the south side of the bridge. There are also walks and childrens entertainments as reviewed by others.

Excellent walking trail, a bit boggy if wet but great non-the-less. I managed to get down to the falls rock area with no issues - see pics section. Its a short walk but has some ideal locations to relax and enjoy a snack. good opportunity for drone flying also - just be mindful of others.

It is well worth taking a break to visit these falls which are best viewed from the old bridge. You can also walk under the bridge to get a bit closer to the fast flowing water.

Stopped when travelling to Ullapool at this not well sign posted falls. There is a lovely bridge giving you a wonderful view and small car park to allow you to stop at.
