Please Book In Advance On Our Website

Discover the craftsmanship and heritage behind Bombay Sapphire at our distillery in the heart of rural England. Laverstoke Mill in beautiful, rural Hampshire is the setting for our state of the art distillery where you are invited to go behind the scenes as we make our gin.

The Self-Discovery Experience offers you the opportunity to uncover the secrets of Bombay Sapphire through an interactive map that activates various displays and audio clips throughout the distillery.

Take in the crystal clear water and beautiful natural surroundings walking along the River Test to the Entrance Hall. Step back in time to uncover the fascinating history behind Laverstoke Mill in the Heritage Room. Discover the ten exotic botanicals in Bombay Sapphire gin in the Glasshouses and Botanical Dry Room and then join the distillery hosts as you go behind the scenes of the unique Vapour Infusion distillation process in the Dakin Still House. Visitors can immerse themselves in the history of gin and Bombay Sapphire in the Gallery, then the experience culminates in The Mill Bar. Every guest receives a drink 'on the house' in the Mill Bar alongside the beautiful River Test.

The distillery has excellent transport links to Basingstoke and Winchester with the 76 and 86 bus routes stopping right outside Laverstoke Mill in addition to a large car park. The nearest train stations are Overton and Whitchurch and you can also get the 76 or 86 bus from right outside Basingstoke station. Directions and further information can be found on the website.

We look forward to welcoming you.

The Bombay Sapphire Gin Distillery is a great day out. We had a guided tour which was great (although on a cold day in February, the outside parts of the tour were a bit chilly). Likewise, the cocktail, chosen according to what Botanicals you like most, was served in a chilly bar with lots of ice! Lovely in the Summer... More

Given tickets for the guided tour as a gift - as a true gin lover, booked to go with my daughter on her birthday - as a true gin virgin. I think you can just turn up too as there are audio points dotted around. The setting is wonderful, the grounds beautifully kept. Our guide for the morning was Jenny... More

We were given a gin cocktail masterclass for Christmas by our daughter and son in law as we are very fond of the odd gin or two. The whole experience was great fun, the gin expert (Callum, I think ) was charming and entertaining, very knowledgable with a wicked sense of humour, we learned about Bombay Sapphire and the proper... I visited as a birthday treat for a friend and it was a great experience. We had booked for a couple of weeks before but were sadly unable to travel, I contacted them and the manager was really helpful and accommodating and moved our booking. We did the self guided tour, the audio wasn't working but we were still able... More

Beautiful place, wonderful location, lovely attractive glass house, very interesting idea with choosing your favourite aromas, very enthusiastic tour guide :) great experience after all!! Very recommended!!! But Devises with information during self Tour are not very useful - you have to seat and listen but branches were wet after rain and sound still very low - better to use... More

We did the cocktail making class and the distillery tour. It was all very well organised and the class was great fun. The staff were very helpful and well informed. They were interesting to listen to and made the whole experience very relaxed and enjoyable. I was taken by some friends as a birthday present - I thoroughly enjoyed it!

Spent a lovely afternoon yesterday doing the Masterclass and tour and came home thinking it was so much better than we had expected. Kicking off with the Masterclass, this was great fun and very informative. Have to make a special mention to our host for the class, Carl, who was brilliant. He gauged the atmosphere of the group perfectly and... More

Having only just got in to drinking gin we received this as a gift & enjoyed every minute. You can just visit & do a tour of the distillery but we did the master class as well which involved mixing & shaking cocktails. So much fun & our mixologist Carl was so informative & very funny. Who knew you don't... More

My friend and I opted for the self-guided tour so that we could take it in at our own pace. It's very well done, you are given a map which includes a chip that enables swipe access through gates and activates several speaker points where you can listen to a recorded message telling you a bit more about the history... My husband ( who isn't a gin lover) and I got this experience as a present. What a great few hours to learn how my gin is made and you get a taste at the end. The shop has some lovely things in it as well. Don't worry if you are the driver.....there is a treat for you as well... More
