This is a unique place. You will find so many graves of holy men in this building. Excellent architecture. Must visit..

A most unusual architectural structure. Officially women not allowed within the main tomb. Shoes must be removed.

It has it's own ambience - peaseful and serious, with great views on the surrounding countryside and some elegant graves around. A good idea to come and have a quiet picnic nearby, but you also can just visit it in your way to or back from Ashtur.

A nice place to visit - great views of the local countryside. A great example of the architecture of the period - and well preserved.

Must visit place. Lookout for peacocks lots are there. Visit nearby well with 20 paisa shape called 'Pari bawdi' and the tales of this well it's design resembles the same as Chaukhandi excellent architecture. On the way to bahamani tombs.

This tomb high up on a hill near Ashtur, 4 km from Bidar is the tomb of Hazrat Khalil Ullah. He worked for Sultan Ahmed Shah of the Mughal dynasty, and advised him on fundamentalist Islam. The tomb has strange octagonal architecture, but otherwise it is simplistic in nature. Its beauty lies in its decoration, which features callipgraphy and stonework.... More
