This is our second gorge of the day. There was some part that you had to walk in water to get through. Some of us didn’t want to get in he water just yet so they scrambled rocks to go through. Me and some other...More

These are some challenging locations where you should be prepared to walk or swim through sections to see the best parts, wear good water footwear as it can be slippery and hard on feet. The water is cold but it is worth getting wet for...More

As like most of Karijini, Weano offered the chance for a little bit of risk and adventure. A few neck deep swims and lots of rock scrambling to get to the end. Don't be an idiot like me, wear swimwear!

We did the walk the opposite way to experience a different. It was a calmer introduction to rock scrambling. The crossing of the running creeks by going over stepping stones reminded me of childhood. On arriving at the true entry point we carefully followed the...More

A great place to visit and walk. We did the 3km loop walk through the gorge and then back along the top. It was a steady/easy walk and full of nature....some massive webs and spiders. Beautiful and natural.

From where we parked, the track down to the gorge was clearly marked. Our path was limited by water in one direction, but further into the dry season this would have been clear. We had a good walk in the other direction and enjoyed the...More

The walk down into Weano Gorge is not difficult, there are stairs made from the rocks, most fairly easy to navigate. Walking along the bottom of the gorge is easy at first, and quite beautiful with the jagged red layered cliffs rising up on either...More

We did both of these walks ( class 5) in a morning. It wasn’t very busy so you could step it out. Be prepared to wade, walk, swim through the gorges. Leggings and sneakers are helpful rather than boots. You will have to abandon your...More

The trail to the Weano Gorge would take certain amount of commitment, a good length of the trail is in the water, there is no get around about it, so be prepared to get wet! If you have valuables should not be merged in the...More

People have raved to me about this spot for years saying it's not to be missed and that is worth the long trip from Perth. I wasn't convinced by the hype until I set foot on the path to the gorge on a class 4/5...More
