Located within on the edge of Karijini National Park, the hike up to the top of Mount Bruce took around 4 hours beginning at 5am to see the sun rise. The trail was visible to follow with trail markers randomly placed. Trail surface is rocky,...More

A fairly tough walk (rated grade 5) but most is very reasonable. Little rough underfoot in parts but not too bad. Just one section of scrambling up a narrow chimney then round an exposed rock face to a few metres. Not too bad going up...More

Mt Bruce is well worth a climb but you'll need a few hours to do it. Because it gets fairly hot up there, it's best to do the climb in the morning and take plenty of water with you. It's rated class 5 and there...More

Stunning looking mountain and wished I had the six hours to walk up it. Dominated the south side of the park and changes colour late afternoon to a light purple.

I casually walked up this mountain, thinking it was a brief trip, but found that it just kept going! Good views of the Rio Tinto operation. Lots of wild flowers when I was there. And I recommend that you read the signage at the start....More

Visited Mt Bruce in october. It can get really hot but that day it was windy and we brought 3L of water for the 4-5h return walk so it was ok. Can probably be done quicker if you're fast and don't stop for pictures but...More

We weren't expecting to do this hike, but we happened to have a spare few hours. Left the carpark at 2pm, and got back at 630pm. We aren't super experienced hikers, but generally fit. The walk is a nice combination of ridge walking and semi-difficult...More
