Great pool for a swim and explore.... But it is cold and if you want to swim to the end you may wish you had a float as its a long way back.

Well I won't forget this experience in a hurry. I managed the walk to the water obstacle, changed into wet sandals, waded through the water with those jagged rocks hidden below the level of the water. I stayed close to thelayered rocks for hand support.On...More

The colours are amazing but it takes a lot of climbing and steps to get there and back - well worth the effort.

This gorge is a bit more remote and a hidden gem that you need to climb down to see. From the car park it does look that special, but climb down to the water falls and the blue/grey rocks and wow! The water has made...More

This gorge shows off the amazing colours of the rocks in Karajinji. Early in the morning or late afternoon with the sun shining is beautiful. A spectacular place in the world.

There is a series of gorges in the Hamersly, each has its unique rock formation. Beautiful mineral coloring throughout the gorge, at the end of the gorge, you’ll come to a large swimming hole with a small cascade of waterfall.

We visited Hamersley Gorge as park of a four day stay at Karijini National Park. We were a party of 7 with three young children 3,6 & 7. The gorge was relatively easy to access, some uneven rocky ground. The children used pool noodles for...More

It's tempting to compare every gorge against the splendour of Weano or Hancock Gorges at Karijini or the majesty of Cathedral Gorge at the Bungle Bungles. Hamersley Gorge doesn't meet that high benchmark. It has a beautiful waterfall which, by the end of July, is...More

This is a pretty gorge but there is some 42 KM of dirt road to get there from Tom Price. The rocks are beautiful in various colors and the pools and small waterfalls interesting. There was an algae issue with the water when visited but still...More

It is one of the most accessible areas, but there is still a small climb up and down a fairly steep path. There are a couple of spots to stop fora breather though.
