I turned up to watch the boxing with my elderly step dad & his disabled best friend. We got refused entry as the bouncers said the pub was full (which it clearly wasn’t as I could see from the doors that it was half empty) door staff had a threatening manner. This was highly embarrassing & no understanding of why we had been refused entry.…

Fixtures & furnishings upgrade has freshened up the look and updated-nice chandeliers... pity they haven't gone the extra mile and painted the tired frontage.

Decided to pop in for a drink with our 10yr old son whilst passing the village on a nice day. Place was pretty much empty. Only planned on one as I was heavily pregnant so obviously not going for a drinking sesh. Told no children allowed so didn’t even get a drink. No sign on door warning of this. So pretty embarrassing really! Think it’s disgusting that you can’t even spend a bit of family time socially these days. Disgusting!!!…

A great go to for any sports viewing. Been anytime the football is on and theres always a spot whether its at the bar or seated as there are TV's everywhere. Never eaten a meal here but you cant go wrong with some cheap beer and crisps! Staff are always good fun too.
