Fantastic visit! The Caves are truly stunning, so much to see. The guide (John) was so friendly, knowledgeable and funny, sharing interesting facts and story's, it was a brilliant history lesson all told in a wonderfully warm Yorkshire voice. We took our 3 dogs (all...More
Lovely walk to the caves from Clapham. The caves are great, good paths inside. Some low roof parts. Tour guide was funny and informative. Definitely worth a visit. This is one of the longest running show caves in the UK for good reason.
We parked in the village car park and walked up through the hills to the entrance. It took us about forty mins uphill.
If your not fit there are seats here and there.
Visits are on the hour and half hour.

We travelled with two kids, aged 7 and 11. Whilst they complained about the uphill 2km walk to the cave they were fascinated by the Cave and the stories presented by the tour guide. We all thoroughly enjoyed it.
