This is a great cave to visit. The tour guide (John) was knowledgeable, interesting and friendly, and really helped to explain the geology, geography and history in an understandable way. Quick note though, you need change for parking and to enter the trail, and it's a 30 minute walk up a track to the cave, so come prepared.

We had a wonderful afternoon walking to the cave. We wasn't expecting such a long walk to get to the cave as we had missed the sign stating so from the pay booth for the nature trail, but all the same it was a glorious walk with beautiful scenery. When we got to the cave we had just missed the... More

This cave was truly stunning and we were guided by John who was extremely knowledgeable and with a wicked sense of humour he had us sharing his genuine enthusiasm for caving within minutes of the tour starting! He made the tour worth every penny of our admission fee and gave us some helpful tips on what else to visit. Bear... More

I've been to these caves many times over the years, since being taken as a small child. The caves are about 30 minutes walk from Clapham village, though a pleasant nature trail. The cave tours run hourly, taking you about a third of a mile into the system and include an impressive selection of formations. The guide was knowledgeable and... More

Walked up the nature trail to the caves. A very nice walk even in the drizzly weather! The tour round the caves was very interesting and our tour guide was both entertaining and informative. Well worth a visit.

Nice walk up to the caves, a litle busy when we got there but not enough to put us off. We queued for about 30 - 40 mins to get into the cave, the staff inside are great and very friendly and tell a good story for the kids. Now for the bad bits (and this is no reflection on... More

Good morning, Thank you for your review. First and foremost, I am pleased to hear that you were happy with the work of our fantastic staff. As you mentioned, they work very hard to make the experience enjoyable for the children. Your suggestion regarding charging £10 for Children, allowing Adults to go free is simply not financially feasible for us.... More

We were recommended the santa visit by a family friend and we weren't disappointed , the walk to the caves are a bit hard going for younger children and the assess isn't really pushchair friendly however they do lay on a minibus to help disabled or young children , once in the cave the staff were attentive and friendly and... We had a lovely walk to the cave which is a path in a ravine. You pass a beautiful lake and then walk alongside the stream. You get very high very quickly and so see stunning views. The cave itself is amazing and the tour guide was good and knowledge. A lively place to visit and show the kids
