Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Easy to walk around and definitely worth it. Amazing views and great place to chill. There are two ways to get there so if you're interested only to visit this part, there is a parking space close by with around 10/15 min walking down to get to your destination

just before going into the village, you can stop on the side of the road and walk to this amazing waterfall, but more amazing is the view from the promontory you will be standing from

A superb site with very high cliffs for miles and the water falls from top to bottom, though at certain times of the year there is very little water. Nearby Rupit is a very interesting village with everything for the visitor. On the way it is worth taking side roads leading to shrines perched on top of the precipice.

The title is wrong: the salt de Sallent of Sant Privat d en Bas is not in Rupit. There are 2 waterfalls named with the same name, Sallent: one is in Sant Privat d en Bas (Garrotxa) and the other one in Rupit (Osona). I would like to write it in my own language (Catalan) but I am not allowed so far.

One of the most beautiful things I have seen in Spain and in Europe for this matter. A good 45 minutes walk, really worth it. Take some good shoes.

Beautiful views over the Reservoir. You will delight in the church steeple protruding from the water where a whole town that once stood there is immersed in water. A lovely walk from the village up to the cliffs but you can also drive the dirt track up to it. There is also a nice meditation Centre near the top where you can relax and appreciate mother nature’s gifts.

This is a place to visit! Very beautiful and a good walk. Not so much water left in the waterfall because we visited in august. Cosy cafeterias and beautiful views! 1,5h drive from Barcelona.

The views of the waterfall are very nice, and the entire area is so pretty. Well worth the effort of getting here.

We went for this medieval mountain trek around Salt De Sallent and the view was simply magnificent. The canyon and waterfall is something which makes the trek great. Choose a trek which suit you.

beautiful and romantic descent from Rupit, and a good view on the Salt. It was early August, and consequently there was not much of a waterfall ;-)
