Kids had an absolute blast. There is rafting down the road and zip line as well. Make sure you do everything! Start the day at 9am from your hotel. The place is an hour away from Le Meridien.

This waterfall is located east of Batumi just 30 minutes away by car. There are many beautiful places in the middle of way if you go out from Batumi to see there. A big river with Raftling ; nice beautifull view of mountains and jungle and a very old and historical bridge just near to waterfall.
If you decide to experience a relaxing time, do mot miss visiting this water fall.there are some local shops near to bridge and a vary good restaurant .

Ours is a quick visit because it was raining (we’re crazy, I know). It’s almost 1 hour drive from the center but upon seeing it, the drive was so worth it. We’d love to stay longer and marvel at its beauty but like I said it was raining. On a very good note though, because of the rain, we’re the only people there at that time. :)
Best to come on a dry day so you can get the most of it.

This is a place to be once you grow tired of sun and beaches. Located in small village of Makhuntseti, it's one of two attractions you can find here, other being Makhuntseti bridge.
I visited waterfall in march after rainy period so it was rich with water.
Waterfall itself is really nice, located in shade, it must be really refreshing during summer months. There is bar nearby and little park to chill out.

If you come here with public transport, you should take any marshrutka from Batumi central bus station (it's quite close to city center) in direction to Kheda (or just ask marshrutka driver to Makhuntseti, they'll tell you which one to take). Ride takes about 1 hour or more depending on traffic jams and price is at most 3 lari. They go approximately every 30 minutes. On way back just hail any marshrutka, almost every single one will drop you back at main bus station.

The roughly 100m high waterfall is situated an hours drive from Batumi on the way to Borjomi. The force of the water in March was amazing as this is the time the snow starts melting. Most waterfalls i have seen cannot match the flow of this waterfall. Coupled with the height it's worth a visit.

One can buy pure honey on this route towards Borjomi, which actually tastes different from the market ready packs, proving its purenees. The untouched natural beauty is amazing on this route.
