We love Garza. It has such a different vibe than more touristy neighbor Guiones. Garza feels raw and real and local. It's great for walking around on, grabbing a drink and food at Garza Beach Lounge and swimming while you wait.

It was great having one mile of beach to ourselves and the fishermen and hermit crabs. We prefer the north side of the beach which is accessible by an off road from the main road.

On our northern path we decided to try Garza Beach. Garza Beach is not enough advertised and very difficult to reach - we had to drive through a river, however the scenery, serenity, and species we found there created a great afternoon at the beach....More

Nice quiet beach to check out. No waves but a nice beach to chill out at. More of a locals beach with tico families having fun.

Playa Garza is a beautiful long beach. It is a perfect bay with a wide sand beach. Due to the trees there is also some shade. There is a village on the central part of the beach and some simple sodas (restaurants). During the week...More

As others have said, a great beach with few people except fishermen. We went snorkeling here, and though this area of CR is not a popular for that activity particularly, we saw lots of small fish, beautiful starfish, a trigger fish, eels, pufferfish and lots...More

This is a gem of a beach where you will quite often be alone except for a bunch of fishing boats that are anchored because of the calm conditions. It is incredibly beautiful and just another treasure along the Nosara coast line. If you are...More

This beach is great for swimming, snorkling, fishing, or just laying out. Protected by a reef there is not much currect or waves, absolutely beautiful. Not a big tourist place, only a couple of restaurants and one hotel but amazing for a stop over.

Mile long, often deserted beach with ocean temperature usually 26C/78F. No restrooms. Across hiway is grocery store(300'/100m away). No surfing, too calm. Flat. There are a few picnic tables in shade just above main swimming area. At times maybe 200 pelicans just relaxing on the...More
