Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

My son booked for him, myself, my husband and two friends to visit as our wedding anniversary treat. It was great experience, the 3 mini experiences were varied and the main zombie game was great fun. The staff are friendly, there’s a bar and everything was clean and organised. My husband is planning to book again for a boys night out. Well worth the visit, great unique talking point to share with others.

Wow what a date night!
We had Alex and Jordan look after us both with our game and at the bar and it was like being with friends. Super friendly, and went above and beyond with their service.
These guys need a raise. Nothing was too much trouble and it's because of them we're coming back!!
Thanas Lithu for letting us do our game early, it was much appreciate
Amazing work team. We'll see you soon!!

Well, if you’re looking for an experience, this is definitely one! We went early to play some pool and have a drink.
The staff were friendly and happy. I’d like to mention Jordan specifically as he was fantastic and looked after us.
The VR itself was incredible, we did overrun and plan on returning to do number 2!
We went on a Stag but it would be awesome for any occasion!

We visited as a team of 4 on a corporate package private event with a few other teams (from the same corporation but we didn’t know them) - c.25 people altogether as I recall 5 teams and 4/5 people per team. The evening was advertised as 6 - 10pm, including one pizza per person and we paid £49 for the experience. On arrival, we were told each team would get one game in the main area (15 minutes zombies style) and unlimited demos in the demo area, as well as use of the 2 private booths. We were also told that the 5 highest scoring players from the evening would get a bonus game at the end of the night.
The game play was very fun - the zombies game that's played as a team especially and the evening did start promptly at 6pm but the organisation/planning of the rest of the evening, plus the conduct of some of the staff at the end really let the evening down.
The 3 demos each allow one person to play at a time and takes on average about 5 minutes. The 2 private booths were the same and whilst use of these is advertised as unlimited, visibly, people were just not playing these over and over again whilst waiting for their main game - e.g. one of the demos was a "look around" experience, which whilst was cool, is just not something you would do over and over and still find engaging.
The format of the evening could have been improved considerably. Whilst the bonus game is theoretically a fun competitive element, I think when everybody has paid the same price to be there, the length of game play for everybody should be largely the same. To reiterate this point, by the time the bonus game was played, many people who did not make it into this game were leaving. Further, zombies is the kind of game where collaboration is key and my friend who made it into the top 5 confirmed there was a lack of communication in that final game because nobody knew each other and so it was not really that fun, despite getting to play again.
The duration of the event would have facilitated more than one 15 minute game per team if it was planned a little better. With 5 teams over what was advertised as 4 hours, we could have at least played 2 games and still have had sufficient time (c. 1.5 hours) for the pizza and the demos. In reality, the evening wrapped up just after 9pm despite there being a period of time where the main game area was vacated as the pizzas arrived. Staggering the pizza deliveries could have made better use of time to fit in more game play.
Speaking of pizzas, they are outsourced to the local Franco Manca and clearly rushed to fulfil the bulk order. Each of our four pizzas was consistently awful quality, much worse than their usual standard, though I can't speak for the rest of the attendees. We got in touch with them separately and they were great with their response; we also alerted (who we think was the) manager (see below), who was grateful we fed this back to them to discuss with Franco Manca.
For a venue that has not been open for that long, the room for improvement described above is not surprising and we appreciate the (assumed) manager engaging with us for feedback and taking on our opinions. However, the behaviour of some of the rest of the staff team was unprofessional to the extreme.
One of our group had tweeted a constructive review during the evening which was clearly read by a member of staff, who I assume alerted the manager. This played out by the manager approaching us at the end of the evening to ask us how the evening was and then asking a few deeper questions for our feedback without revealing that he'd seen the tweet. Minutes before this, I'd noticed the rest of the staff team behind the bar area, visibly pointing at my friend (who tweeted), whispering amongst themselves, pointing at what must have been a device showing the tweet, making direct eye contact with me as I watched them, and continuing without shame. With the pointing and back and forth looking over and whispering, it was quite evident she was matching my friend's Twitter profile picture to her in person. This is absolutely shocking behaviour from somebody who is supposed to be customer-facing (side story: the same member of staff was also quite rude serving G&Ts earlier, too impatient to listen to us repeat our order (1 double, 3 singles, 1 with normal tonic and 3 slimline), instead telling us (quite bluntly and dismissively) that she would just pour the gins and then we could tell her which tonics after).
This pointing/whispering went on for a considerable length of time and even after the manager started speaking with us, they continued to look on, whisper amongst themselves and smirk at the fact we were giving feedback - this is highly unprofessional. For avoidance of doubt, the tweet was not rude and we were not making a complaint, we were rather providing constructive feedback and voicing valid opinions to the manager. After we had said the game play was really fun, the manager – in a semi confrontational manner – showed us the tweet and asked something along the lines of “but didn’t you leave this review?”, to which we responded yes, and the game play was fun but the evening was not organised well or good use of time. For the price point, the value of money was low (even taking out let’s say £10/12 for the pizza) and for the length of time we had, it could have been a better experience. The manager was quite receptive and we appreciated him engaging with us, despite the conduct of the employees behind him. He also did mention that the pricing outside of corporate events ranges from £20s to £40s depending on how busy the place is but this is largely irrelevant. There is no incentive to take part in a corporate package if it does not include more game play and is possibly more expensive…
To make matters worse though, within 5 minutes of leaving the venue, my friend's tweet received a reply from somebody who had clearly been shown her tweet or is somehow affiliated with Navrtar (to be honest she looked like she could have been related to the rude employee). This account has 0 mutuals and no reason to have come across the tweet unless she had either been shown it or been lurking on the Navrtar account's mentions. Her response was immature, highly defensive and clearly drafted to defend Navrtar (opinion v. opinion). Her later interactions got personal and rude towards my friend and as it drew more attention, all of a sudden she deleted every single one of her tweets and blocked my friend. Navrtar may respond to say this account is not affiliated in any way but to be honest, I think we all know it was.

Hi Chickenloop, thanks for taking the time out to leave us some feedback.
We pride ourselves on the high level of service provided hence this is our first group to leave a negative review so we are disappointed that your experience did not match the rest of our customers.
As part of the corporate package, the game time in the main room was 15 minutes as we run a tournament for all teams, followed by an opportunity for a bonus game. This is only one part of the event, and doesn't include the unlimited access you have to the demo areas and private booths throughout the duration of the tournament. The format of the event was clearly made out to the organisation who resold you the tickets. Unfortunately, we don’t have any control on what is communicated to all attendees, we can only hope all information is passed on.
We partner with Franco Manca for the food with whom we deal with on a regular basis. We receive positive feedback and this is a corporate favourite. We will be sure to bring this to their attention to ensure they meet customers expectations. In regards to the serving of the pizzas, we always double check firstly, the whole order is ready to give out, and secondly, the correct pizzas are given out to customers encase of any special dietary requirements.
Having spoken to the members in staff present during the event and reviewed CCTV, their intentions were not to make anyone feel uncomfortable and we sincerely apologise if this is how it came across.
As a growing company we look to focus on our areas of improvement and we will look to address this miscommunication does not occur again.

Had such a fun experience at this place! It was my first time so didn’t know what to expect, but the tester sessions they let you sample first definitely help you to get used to it. The zombie experience was literally surreal! I felt like i was actually being attacked. Money well spent, plus they have a pool table and bar for you to chill and play afterwards/before. The staff were also AMAZING and very friendly.

I went to have a nice night out with my three mates, the activity itself was fun albeit a little short for what we paid (£49pp).
We played one round for 15minutes which I was a bit annoyed about as we have paid less elsewhere in the past and played for at least 1hr. We also had pizza as part of this experience which was from Franco Manca and the pizza was extremely sub par- while I accept that the pizza isn’t wholly their fault, they choose to outsource their pizza to this establishment, so no matter what they are partially to blame. When the pizza arrived, the service was slow, they were not very organised as it took a good 15minutes for them to hand pizzas out. Originally they motioned us over to them and asked us what we had ordered to try and pick out the right pizzas to give to us but when we eventually told them what we had ordered, they dismissed us and said instead they would just give out the pizzas instead - very disorganised.
I tweeted about my annoyance and the manager saw this and graciously came to talk to us and get some feedback. I really did appreciate this, however the 4 employees standing behind the bar had DISGUSTING conduct. They had obviously seen the tweet and recognised my twitter picture, as they started pointing at me and whispering amongst themselves. They did this in clear view and even when my friend pointed out they were doing this, they did not stop. One of the employees in particular had been rude to us when serving us drinks, telling us to wait for her to pour the gin out and the tell her what tonic we would prefer. This is outrageous behaviour towards a customer. The same employee stood right by the bar and kept giving me dirty looks as the manager spoke with us. I’ve been to many of these experiences and I have never ever been treated in this manner. The lack of customer service and the level of shamelessness was shocking. I will never go back to this establishment. While I appreciate the manager actually caring and talking to me and my friends about our feedback, I cannot accept the other employees’ talking about myself and my party. It’s just indicates that there is very little regard for customer experience which is a shame as the zombie VR game itself was quite enjoyable.

We came here as a Christmas present for my husband. I wasn't sure this was going to be my thing, but I can honestly say I enjoyed it as much as he did (ie. A LOT!)
Staff are friendly and chatty, but also happy to stand back and let you enjoy the games on your own. There's a bar for drinks while you wait, and you can also watch the group before you do
