Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

It is one of the best beaches on the island. It has pebbles that do not particularly bother the feet and you can swim in clear blue waters. If you visit it in the afternoon, I suggest you stay until sunset, to see the sun disappear with purple colors on the mountain tops of the opposite island, Kefalonia.

Very good beach with the classic pebbles of Ithaca. I would like to point out, that it is not reasonable to start a trip to Ithaca without seafood shoes, unless you are hardened and endure.
You park a little further upstairs and there is a path that is not boring at all that goes down to the beach.
We went in the morning before 10 and we had this vast beach with the wonderful color all ours. There are umbrellas and sunbeds but no one manages them, they look abandoned. Maybe in July/August there's someone I don't know. We ⁇ the quiet and the wonderful sea.

It is our fav beach on Ithaka indeed.
You can drive there, a few minutes going by safe stairs then.
Water is more refreshing due to stream and wind, but it is the cleanest beach too.
Calm in the morning, while getting windy afternoon.
Quite deep waters, so do not leave kids without attention even a second.
Otherwise recommended!

This is a pretty clean beach it was also possible to park without have too risky of a drive as is often the case in Greece. Once parked a short walk to nicely paved stone steps down to the beach. There are sun beds and umbrellas 10 euro for a set for the day and not loads of them taking up the whole beach. A nice cove and little headland to swim around clear clean water and no boats nearby. I will go back to this beach.

Nice beach there are sun loungers. To get to the beach you need to walk close to 300 meters with stairs but it is not very difficult.
