Amazing wine and lunch pairing with their Sommelier. We had a blast and bought wine. I can’t wait to get them here in the States!

We dropped into the winery with our interest sparked from reading about the organic and biodynamic methods they employ.
The winery was actually closed as they were preparing for a big tasting event. However, the family still took time to open up the tasting room and gave us a spectacular experience.
Wine and company spirit are both amazing. A must if you are around Heraklion and like wine!!

A small, family-run winery where we had the chance to taste and buy some excellent white and red wines. The owner and oenologist was there to explain her philosophy and we had a very pleasant chat about the winery's future plans. If you are into wine, this is highly recommended.

We tasted the one of Daskalakis ecellent red wines the night before in a restaurant in Chania and spontaneously decided to visit the winery the next day and buy some of the good stuff right from the producer. We were very pleasantly surprised by how uncomplicated it all was and that we could simply arrive without reservation and go for a quick tasting, which we of course did. While greek wine was never high on our list, our trip last year surely changed our perception on how greek winemakers have progressed in te past decades. All in all the hospitality concept of the winery still has a way to go, but the wine and hosts were very pleasant and a visit is thus highly recommendable!

We are six friends from Germany with a love for good wine and visited the Siva winery spontaneously. Mrs Daskalaki welcomed us and gave us an introduction to her philosophy, the approach and the different wine sorts on Crete.
Our joint conclusion after this visit was: We sincerely admire the passion and love she has for her job that obviously continously leads to award-winning products that are most excellent. Highly, highly recommended!

We stopped at the winery quite spontaneously. The team there was quite busy because of the harvest time starting, but they took the time to welcome us. We did a testing of 6 wines, we got nice cheese to go with. We bought few bottles. Overall nice!

It’s by far one of the best wine tasting experiences I’ve ever had!! When we arrived in the winery the people welcomed us in a very warm and friendly way. They explained to us the traditional history of the winery and gave detailed information about the wines we tasted. All wines surprised us with their exceptional aromas and taste, while “Ensticto” and “Emilia” were the ones that we loved most!! We also had a tour on the equipment which is used in the wine production. The quality of the wine and the hospitality of the people made our experience unique!
Our next visit will be arranged as soon as we finish the wines we bought!!

Highly recommended!!

Folk should know how disappointed we were with the "tour" we booked.

That's the point, there wasn't a tour...

After being recommended your winery by one of your clients it seemed appropriate to make the visit. We travelled a long way expecting to see the production process, learn about your cultivation philosophy and above all see an award winning Cretan winery making wine.

Instead, we were ushered into a room, sat down at a table with a price list in front of us. It became apparent very quickly there was no tour, no education, no visit around the premises... but we could try 3 wines.

On the way there we had been excited, we left feeling we had been "conned". We could have gone to a supermarket and just bought the wines, at least we wouldn't have wasted 10 Euros and half a day travelling.

We drove by and saw signs to a winery

Without having agreed anything, the hosts welcomed us warmly and were professional

Unfortunately we did not have enough time for the tour, but we got to taste all the wines and bought of course a couple of them

Really recommendable

Booked wine tasting with friends. Enjoyed personal service from the daughter who poured us six wines accompanied by meat and cheese. Lovely small family business. We took away some wine made only from Cretan grapes. Gorgeous. We shall enjoy them at home and remember our travels in beautiful Crete.
