Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Great experience! I will not forget my adventure here, I feel like I am lost in paradise. The local workers are very hospitable and approachable you can feel that you are one of their family. I will definitely go back there.

Through going to this resort I feel amazed because of the wonderful surroundings of it. It is full of nature so green. I enjoyed visiting here because you can see like the crystal cave, swim with the jellyfish. About the tour guides there, they're so detailed telling all the description there.

So it's totally beautiful you can snorkel not a ton to see but some
Paddle board and of course jump off the platform. Be advised you can not bring any food out plastic water bottles so bring your reusable water cantine.

The Sohoton Tour should be one of the highlights of your Siargao vacation. Although the trip to Sohoton takes about 2 hours, the sights and activities are worth the long travel. You will pass through scenic limestone cliffs and crystal clear waters. You will get the opportunity to cliff dive after passing thru a claustrophobic cavern. If lucky, you will encounter stingless jellyfishes. Never miss this tour when visiting Siargao.

On our trip to Siarago Island we took a boat tour to Sohoton Lagoon on Socorro Island. We went to the main tourist infomation area in General Luna to book the tour. To rent a boat is 5,000 peso. So it is recommended that you split the cost between up to 6 riders. The tour includes not only Sohoton Lagoon but a three stop island hopping tour ( Naked Island, Guyam Island & Daku Island ). The boats leave early in the morning because it is a two hour boat ride to Sohoton Cove. Once you get to Sohoton Cove you switch to another boat with a guide and two boat men. The guide points out all the interesting areas of Sohoton Lagoon. There are several caves and strange rock formations to see. One of the caves is Crystal Cave. Here you have to swim under the rocks to come up inside of the cave. This was very cool. The hightlight for me was the jellyfish sanctuary. Here you get to see and swim with thousands of jellyfish. I enjoyed this the most of our entire vacation. Sohoton Lagoon is a must see if you are going to Siarago Island.

Going here takes about 2-3 hours. It was insane. After arriving, you will need to wait another 1-2 hours for your turn to go into the lagoon. What kind sucked was that when we went, it wasn't the season of the stingless jellyfish so we only saw a few small ones. I asked the guide, and its usually from August/September where people see a lot and the big ones. Would recommend if you're going in-season. If not, best to just skip this place.
