You should see this fantastic castle. They repaired this place very good. The oldness of this area is from Sasanid daynasty, means it is from more than 1500 years ago.

This fortress was used as a safe by merchants and peasants to store goods. Clever wooden locks to block doors. Amazing & good fun. Camel rides available in the village.

Just before Yazd, Sar-Yazd used to be the place where the merchants would trust their merchandise with someone they trusted and head for Yazd to make the sale! Nice little castle, very polite guard!

We paid 5 Euro per car to go to saryazd castle and come back. Pick up and drop off at our hostel. It takes about 40mins each way.
