We spent 3 nights in the treehouse with our 3 children. This absolutely was one of the highlights of our 1-month-journey! Our children loved swinging on the rope, watching the monkeys, swimming in the river and in the pool, watching Ben free a snake, playing with Amelie and Jarrah, holding a baby squirrel, ziplining... we could have stayed here much, much longer.
An unforgettable adventure with a very warm and welcoming family.
Thank you!

We spent 4 days at Betreed Adventures, in a nature reserve close to Preah Khan. Sharyn, who runs the place, is incredibly hospitable and can give you a glimpse into anything you care to know about Cambodia.

Her husband Ben focuses on the conservation side and is constantly after poachers and loggers in the area. His stories are fascinating (and mind boggling).

It's a great escape to nature, living in the open air stilt house or tree house, hiking with Amelie (one of their daughters) guiding us, ziplining and experiencing all the wildlife around. All the meals were also very tasty.

It’s a bit of a challenge to get out here without your own wheels (and even then, tough to navigate) but Sharyn can help arrange transport from Siem Reap/Phnom Penh or suitable main road connections.

Travelled in from Siem Reap and only had the chance to stay a night.
The Treehouse is fantastic and very comfortable . Just laying in the bed listening to the sounds in the jungle. I found it fascinating . It is very relaxing, nice shower on the ground, You will share the room with a gecko or two and a few spiders, drop you mosquito net and relax in your haven. Sharyn the hostess was great, took us for a 4 hour hike in the jungle, spotted lots , Sharyn is very informative and knowlegeable. Ben is a very busy man doing amazing things to protect the forest and never stops with this battle. The food is fantastic, I am not a vegetarian or a vegan, but the Vegetarian lasagn
e was great. Good selection at breakfast, mentioned peanut butter being so much better than vegemite( which it is of course) and a homemade jar appeared of peanut butter appeared.Nothing seems too much trouble. It takes a bit of effort to get to, and you are in the jungle . It is worth
it for the experience and more Importantly to support what Sharyn and Ben are doing. They are not talking about saving the planet, they living and breathing it.

This is a trip not to be missed. Sharon and Ben are wonderful, and so are their girls. Its amazing in the forest, the stay is extremely comfortable and especially rewarding in the tree house, and the food is great. Its a bit of peace and calm away from the bustle of Cambodian city life. Its also a truly authentic Cambodian experience and my only regret is not staying longer. I did the 12 km hike, swam in a river, and did the zipline. All were great. I stargazed at night (spectacular!), watched the sunrise and birdwatched from the tree house. If you like nature and going off the tourist track, this is the thing to do. You can combine this trip with the temples outside Siem Reap, including Prasat Prehar Vihar, and the journey to Betreed in itself is worth it because you pass through real Cambodian countryside and village life.

We came a few days ago to spent 2 nights in the tree house and were so sad to leave this place. Sharyn and Ben are trying their best to protect the forest around, they are really kind with the guest and I'm glad we helped a little their project by staying here. The food Sharyn cooked was so so good, the hikes we did with Emily and the local guide were great too and we were lucky enough to see Molly the gibbon then some silver langurs with Sharyn. I highly recommend to discover that wild part of Cambodia hidden in the jungle.

BeTreed is an opportunity to intensely experience the natural beauty of Cambodia in comfortable, creative and well-designed accommodations. It is a project, undertaken by the remarkable Davis family, that is intended to preserve the jungle and wildlife now and for the future. Their hospitality (food is fantastic, fresh and homemade) in sharing their environment with their guests went beyond any expectations we could imagine. Peacocks and gibbons are part of our fondest memories. Take the time to travel there and stay 2 nights to have an ultimate Cambodia adventure.

I had the pleasure of staying with Sharyn, Ben and the kids in October 2019. I stayed at the treehouse, the Monkey Pod. The treehouse is very well-constructed, with loving attention to detail. Awaking to the sound of the jungle at sunrise was absolutely spectacular. Even better was being able to stargaze with zero pollution through lights. The food was very good, as well! Getting there is quite an adventure, I did it with mainly public transport and a private car for the last bit. Of course there is the option of private car pick-up and drop-off as well. I can recommend the treehouse for anyone who wants to spice up their trip to Cambodia with a truly unforgettable adventure!

Tucked away in the forest, Betreed is the perfect place to disconnect from the noise and stress of the city. Sharyn's meals are delicious, the hikes are beautiful, the zip-line is great fun, the whole family makes you feel right at home. Tourism with a cause: by staying at Betreed, you support their nature conservation work 🌱

Of our 20 day holiday, the 4 days we were here were easily the best thing we did. Coming form urban London, I was worried about how the kids would adapt to the rural , remote conditions but they loved it.

The food is amazing- delicious wholesome vegetarian meals that Sharyn prepares were stunning- you won’t go hungry .

The stilt house is lovely and slept my family of 5 very comfortably. Waking up and
Listening to the jungle is a truly memorable experience.
We spent our days zip lining, trekking and swimming. The abandoned temple that housed the bats was unforgettable.

If you go to Cambodia , you totally need to come here!
